It seems like in order to keep up with the Joneses in ESO housing that you have to be willing to sink a lot of real life money into your house or take a chance with a crown seller. I wish it didn’t have to be this way.

No. Neither of them seem fit for purpose.
The guard is not a commanding presence. A bit of a dozy, milk-drinker in fact. And who employs one guard anyway, who's going to watch his back? I'd want him in better armour than that as well, and wearing my personal livery.
The cat is a sleaze. I would feel uncomfortable with him living on the same continent, let alone in my home. He'd probably sell all my precious possessions and then turn it into a brothel.

Aw: 1vX - How? (PvP)
1vX are using very specific builds, designed to buff their defense and survivability. There are sets which drastically increase offensive capabilities, after taking damage for a period, and that is one of the ways they can also deal damage.
The skill use within the build is also vital, these folks are using specific skills, in specific situations, that keep them alive or offer huge burst damage in combination with the sets I eluded to earlier.
Also, speed buffs with line of sight mechanic exploitation. You may think 6 people are doing damage to them the reality is its probably less cos they are line of sighting, dodging, blocking etc.
Frankly I find the 1vX playstyle deeply boring for anything more than a short spell. I also find it quite immersion breaking, cos 1 player running around a stone for 10 mins chassed by 6 or more people who cant kill them, is just silly. But each to their own.
I like to break those up
A nice bow gank followed by bow ulti, executed in quick succession, at a point when the 1vXer drops lower on health, as they do periodically before regaining quickly... but you time it right, its good bye 1vXer and its incredibly satisfying

Simple: Heavy Armor + Proc Sets + Malacath Band of Cheese + extra sauce necro or warden overtuned classes.

I can't help it, everytime I see him appear in another chapter/dlc I just have to chuckle at the mishaps we've gone through and I go ahead and help him through his next poorly planned (but well intentioned) scheme. Seeing him pop up every so often as I go world traveling always brings a smile to my face.
Otherwise I'd say Naryu Virian. (I know I know, everyone seems to like her...) But she was the first npc I met (my first character started with the morrowind training scenario) so we had a special connection from the start, and helping her (and vice versa) throughout the quests has been very fun. That and I love her attitude towards life in general.

Yes, winning a 5v1 is definetly boring cause its super easy and not a challange at all.
But sniping and dropping a bow ult on someone that is already fighting outnumbered is clearly a satisfying tactic.

I passed no comment on skill requirements for either play style. I merely commented that running around and around a rock with a ton of health, resistances and self buffing/healing, until your ulti is ready and your stacks are up so you can burst one of the X down, that just doesnt appeal to me. Its boring and looks like a Benny Hill skit.
I find killing a 1vX player, particularly via bow gank playstyle, incredibly satisfying, thanks
Guild Store Search Improvements for Consumables
1. Move "Recipe already known" to the top of the details so it is easier to tell which ones are known without having to scroll down to the bottom of each one - this would be consistent with Motifs
