If I'm in arena then yeah 2H & DW but I only use tornado (for aoe) and flying blade (for range). I tend to gank in Cyrodil so its handy having 2H & Bow for range, damage boost and major expedition

I use DW and 2H in PVP on my stamblade and do very well.I like it better then 2H and as a NB we are one of the few classes who aren't force to use a two hand and Wrecking Blow spam or use crit rush for a gap closer. So give it a shoot a good amount of people use this in PVP on Xbox also you get a extra set piece which IMO is pretty good.

Though I do have a 2H/Bow setup I use rarely, 98% of the time I'm DW/2H. My main combat bar is DW with Surprise Attack, Steel Tornado, Expert Hunter, Killers Blade (Or Blur), Ambush. My 2H Bar is utility with Razor Caltrops, Retreating Maneuver, Rally, Grim Focus, and Vigor.

I almost never encounter anyone who out DPS's me on trash or bosses in vet dungeons and I have great survivability. In PvP I almost never loose unless it's 1v3 or more. (I do throw on cloak to my utility bar and move grim focus to my DW bar in place of Killers Blade for PvP.

    Love this play style.

    5x Hundings / 3x Agility / 2 x Endurance / Kena Shoulders / Bloodspawn Helm

2 Sharpened Maces of Agility with Weapon damage/ Foulness. All small pieces impenetrable (Shoulder is infused, but prefer impenetrable) Chest and Pants Infused prismatic enchants, helm is well fitted (my luck in spindle sucks), all jewelry robust / weapon damage, all VR16 Legendary except purple jewelry with legendary enchants. 2 PC Heavy 5 PC Medium ( prefer the shadow bonuses over another 2% undaunted for duration of buffs and added mitigation. All other enchants are stam, all attributes Stam, Health + Stamina Regen food (can swap for health/Stamina food if just ganking- lowers regen to 1200 But another 5k Stamina and additional damage from that packed on for about 35k Stam. Image of buffed stats above and is outside of Cyrodiil without that buff. Warrior mundus. I have over 50% crit, but don't rely on crits for damage. Helps to tear through shields.

If you can't play with an execute on your second bar, it's a L2P issue...

I played many many hours to great success with my execute on my second bar:
DW: Suprise Attack - Mass Hysteria - Ambush - Steel Tornado - Shadowy Disguise
    TH(Buff/Execute bar): Executioner - Rally - Piercing Mark - Vigor - Caltrops

If timed well, you can easily ambush (change bar somewhat at the same time and light attack + execute right after ambush hits). Having Mass Hysteria and Shadowy Disguise provided much more benefit by being on my 1st bar than my execute.

I'm now running a different setup so I can switch from TH/DW to TH/Bow in a matter of seconds, so my execute is back on my first bar... But if it wasn't for being able to switch from DW to Bow quickly, I would still be using my previous setup.

Agree, though I still use Executioner on my bar, more often than not my opponent is already dead when I go in Execute mode.
I prefer Executioner because it scales faster than Killers blade, but by the time Executioner actually does a lot of damage, a Surprise attack is usually enough to finish them.

I think I actually might remove it from my bar. At least I'll give it a try!

Yeah I often find myself not requiring Reverse Slice (morphed this way for marginal benefit for PvE) as unless I'm facing a health tank (rarely), most people run with ~20k health so the execute will only proc at <10k. My fully buffed Surprise Attack hits for around 12k anyway.

Agree, it's a hard thing to let go, once you are used to it!

    But, you have alternative:
-Doube Take (also gives 20% dodge chance!)
-Quick Cloak (also protects from AOE)
    -Rapid/Retreating Maneuver (although expensive)

I like duel wield because you get 15% more damage with light/heavy attacks on a cc'd target.

Also i really take advantage of the enchants with dw. 1 disease for the healing debuff and 1 shock for the damage debuff and potential instant combustion kill at low health.

Retreating Maneuvers has become a must have for any stamina build to get out of bad situation. So the speed buff with bow is not necessary for me.

Would you say Disease + Shock are the best glyphs combo for DW?
I was thinking of doing Weapon Dmg + Disease...

@sluice For pvp those are the enchants i would use. So yeah i think they are the best. Ton's of utility with those enchants. You could also use Cold damage instead of Shock for a snare if your confident in your ability to stay alive. However the execute utility shock enchants have on low health targets is very valuable.

I would like to add some questions here, since i am also currently working on a Stamblade build, and i am having trouble deciding between DW/2H , 2H/BOW, BOW/2H and DW/BOW.

    Currently i am running 2H/BOW.

I tried to run a DW/2H build recently, but the increase in Weapon Power, does not seem to make up for the missing HA+Poison Injection opening that you get "for free" with a Bow build.

When going DW/2H, what rotation do you guys use?

I have also tried the DW/Bow build, which so far gives me the most DPS and burst. But not having the insta-heal and HoT from Rally seems to hurt survivability more than i would think. Major Brutality is from potions on this kind of build ofc. Anyone who succesfully run DW/Bow?

My current skills are as follow:

    Two-Hand - Single Target bar
Suprise Attack (Wrecking Blow doesn't always work, and I need some instant dps ability..)
Wrecking Blow (It just hits too hard to get rid of...)
Mass Hysteria (I used to have my execute here, and Hysteria was on my second bar...)
    Rally
    Ambush
ULT: Flawless Dawnbreaker (for 8% increase damage)

    Dual Wield - AOE/Utility bar
Double Take (Being a vamp, It's all about sneaking speed...)
Razer Caltrops / Piercing Mark (On switch depending on situation)
    Vigor
    Steel Tornado
    Shadowy Disguise
ULT: Clouding Swarm / Soul Tether

Also, depending on situation, I will switch Steel Tornado for Focused Aim and Double Take for Poison Injection when I want to play with the bow.

My rotation isn't anything fancy. It's more about playing smart: being patient, playing the sneaking game and finding the right lonely and non-dragonknight target... (And knowing when the pull out... Cloak -> Double Take)

Depending on how the fight start, I will usually open with either Wrecking Blow (if I have the time to cast it), Mass Hysteria or Ambush (if from afar)

If I have "all the time in the world" pre fight, I will:
    1. Buff with Rally (You want this up all the time obviously)
    2. (Switch bar) Put vigor up (It's a heal over time, if you can cast it 1-3 seconds pre fight, it doesn't hurt!)
    3. (Optional) Put Piercing Mark if on bar,
    4. Shadowy Disguise (for 100% crit chance on next hit)
5.(Switch bar) Open up with Wrecking Blow OR Mass Hysteria OR Ambush

Main rotation 1: Wrecking Blow -> Heavy Attack Weave -> Suprise Attack
Main rotation 2 (if target out DPS me or moves too much): light attack -> Suprise Attack -> Dodge Roll
I removed my execute because most of the time, I get my kills with my main rotation or a simple Suprise Attack or Ambush if he's running away.

Versus a group, I will buff up with Rally and Double Take (speeeeeed) -> Steel Tornado with Clouding Swarm & Mass Hysteria or Soul Tether

I know a lot of Stamblade don't really use Wrecking Blow, but as I said it just hits so hard, I get way way more kill with it on my bar... once you land a wrecking blow it's usually GG for the opponent.

I tried removing it from my rotation, but Suprise Attack doesn't provide enough DPS for me..
(I currently have about 3500 weapon damage buffed...). Once I hit VR16 and gear myself up, I will try it again.
