Change hair style added in yet?

I haven't played ESO since the first 2 months it came out and now after returning I really hate the flowers on my Khajiits head.

Is there an option in this game to change hair and face paint/adornments? I'm not asking for anything dramatic, I'm just not liking the flowers anymore.

(I know I could wear a helm but I'd rather not, rerolling seems a bit silly since I'm VR7.)

No option for that yet. :(

Hopefully one day they will add it.

Ha! Pretty much how I feel with all the fur and flowers!

I'm actually a little surprised this feature hasn't been added yet.

Nope. I fear to say anything else on this subject for fear of yet more official censure.

For some reason I gave my character a monstrous bushy beard in the character creation menu. Nearly one year has passed, he has defeated Molag Bal and now he could really use a shave.

No no no and NO! They need to just add it to the game directly. Good grief, you people would purchase air if they put it in the cash shop.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

I would love it to be integrated into the game, being free like the dye system, same concept, amazing implementation. Gold cost at the very least if there really needs to be one, which I don't see why.

Race change should be a coin shop thing though.

Would be a simply awful crown store addition!

Something as simple as changing hair/face-paint/adornments should definitely be added as part of the vanilla game. Such an option is one of the very basic staples in any game where development are hoping you play a character for a long period of time, and I believe should similarly so in ESO.

Changes to name, gender, race, class, full make-over, etc. now those could be part of the crown store.
If you can be anything, be kind.

    Thanks everyone for the replys!

Maybe if enough people show interest they will consider adding customization to hair/adornments/tattoos to the game(and quickly!).

    Waiting.... Long TIME

    They need Sex Change option?
    They need Racial Change options?
They don't need nose hair or back hair options..
Can they add waxed legs, arms and other options?

So many choices and so little time to get them all.

Indeed. We need the rumoured barbershop for "everyday" appereance changes soon, to let people play with haircuts, makeup and adornment options, etc., all for a low gold cost (or even free like the dye station... though personally I'd rather see the dye station usage cost a little gold myself)
Possibly even adding more options then chargen had, unlockable through archievements like dyes... or possibly researchable in game... though that can always be implemented later on, its the basic features that so many characters could use now...

And everything else, character redesigns that are not everyday, that could be done for a crown cost, either through a ooc store option, or some in-game way. It shouldn't be too hard to code a way for people to re-enter chargen and make adjustments to their characters, either at a flat rate crown price, or at a crown cost for each slider moved in the end.
Same for name changes, shouldn't be too difficult to implement, just buy a consumable and pop, new name I know I would like to change my orc alts name to make her sound more lore-conform orky...
Class, race and gender... well, I wouldn't see any need for those at the time, but... if people pay for it, why not, more money in the developers war chest means faster updates for all of us, right?

    Hi,

Same question! Will it be possible to have a barber shop where you can change hairstyle and change facial and body paint, etc.?

And why not a mage somwhere that can change your character from scratch (but cost a lot)?

    Thx

    My idea :

    Barber shop

    Who? A mage
    What is he doing?
    • Changing hair style
    • Changing face
    • Changing body shape
    • Changing sexe (why not it's a mage) and Changing identity (changing name only if you change sexe)

In fact, he can do everything you want. Instead of creating a new character from lvl 1, because in fact, you realize that your character is ugly at lvl 15, you just have to pay the mage to do his awesome job on you.

Thing is I was talking to a friend about this and a idea came up. ZoS doesn't even need to add a barber ssytem or anything all they really gota do is just add another tab in the characters menu right next to the delete and create new character tab called "change apperanced" and I'm not game programer but I do have some EXP thanks to some classes in HS and college and I'm assuming it be easier to do that than making a program for a barber shop and making art and buildings for a shop and then trying to find some place to put it in each faction and so one.

Like hows this sound to every one else. What be easier just adding another tab in characters menu that allows you to change your appearanced by sending you to the create a character menus for free or try to make a program spending a few days on working on it then making art for a house and then trying to find a place to put said house and then put it in the system and then going to said shop with your character and paying for it.

Great idea man. In terms of coding it is a lot more feasible than adding a bunch of barber shops all over the world too!

    Make it happen ZOS!

It would entirely be possible for them to add a appereance change to the character selection screen. Likely wouldn#t even be all that complicated. But... it -would- be so much more immersive to go to a barbershop and get a haircut, or a hairgrowth potion, and leave with a new hairstyle.

And also, now that the game needs to make its profit through crowns, they will definitely also add a crown cost to any changes.

Personally what I would love to see is a gold-paid barbershop for "everyday" changes like hairstyle and makeup, and an "recustomization" option paid for with crowns, which might just as well be a out-of-character button in the selection screen... (though a facechanger wizard in an outlaw hangout would be cooler, admitted)

Namechange would be very easy to add as well... place a clerk in your factions capital city center, have your character slip him a bag of crowns to "update" the official records with your new name and... there you are!
