This Game is AWESOME

This. I love this game. I turned off almost all of the Ui.
I expected tacky mmo and I got a well constructed immersive experience.
And the quests!
I love the ingenuity of some of these quests. Yeah its a hunt down ten whatevers, but I love the writing, the voice acting.
It should be a bannable offense to skip this dialogue.

This a great game. However Zos's is inability to fix major bugs (cyrodil lag), provide new content, constant gafs, unfulfilled promises, and lack of day to day dev communication with the community is killing this game.

Love hearing console player impressions. Had the same immersive experience when I started at PC launch. Great to be reminded how beautiful and immersive the world is and that's one of the reasons I'm still here.

What game nowadays launches perfect?

Its hard not to blame the PC transfers and their max power characters area of affecting PvP cluster funks.

New console players aren't there yet. Check the thread about zos plans for PvP. No more buff servers , lol. There's gonna be some qq over that.

Yeah the world is just so gorgeous.

I hope they don't muck it up with text chat and a more intrusive HUD. Turn it all off and kill a bunny. Use the guts to fish. Cook the fish. Thank zos quietly into the gods rays of the setting muther-fng-sun!

But to the OP, I am glad you are enjoying it! As far as most other MMOs are concerned, I view this game as a breath of fresh air! The quests are actually worth listening to and I am glad that I enjoy the scenery while I play. The fact that most of the game is soloable is also a nice touch too!

The solo player content is simply amazing. I really enjoy the group content too, but the questing and exploring outshines the group stuff.

I was dead set on skipping this game when my heart was broken when I didnt get beta access. Until I watched a few streams and review vids and I was interested again.

Glad I stuck with it. It runs fantastic, plays fantastic and is easily up there as one of my favourites.

If they can address the annoying disconnects/group finder I'll be even happier.

Once all the niggles people are having are sorted and the servers etc are running properly...and the initial spike in server load decreases as non Elder Scroll fanatics move onto other games, then I am sure new patches, DLC and stuff will arrive.

I love the game too. Admittedly I don't play at a time when there is massive server load as I am in Australia. However, I found it just so difficult to turn off ESO last night and go to bed!!

@Vatter Keyword "I". I've been playing since beta, agree with OP except bannable part which was clearly a joke. I'm not sure what exactly we're supposed to "know". Please elaborate so we can at least understand or discuss

You magically know the entire map when you're in a zone... roads, mountains, major POI's. I don't. Why? I have an add-on that actually covers up the map until I explore the area. Ever felt that your quest journal could be a bit cooler, a little more immersive and 'fitting', maybe make it look like an old parchment book - written like a journal for your character, keep track of when you did things and what you found out? Add-on.

Oh, make sure that if you use auto loot that it doesn't show you what you're picking up.. that's actually from an add-on for PC. Oh, and your inventory sorted by more than just "weapon/armor/Consumable".. that's from an add-on too.

I can understand your reasoning, as I also at time enjoy an extremely immersive experience (I also have and add-on so I don't see what the NPC's are playing.. I actually need to LISTEN and find it far more immersive). Although I found out quite quickly that gets destroyed by the constant voice chatter.. found out I need to choose to be anti-social or just not be able to listen to all the great voice acting) Although that is only your opinion. Add-ons do not ONLY give you more information and data, you can use them to help your experience in any way.

Well, that is my opinion. You are not wrong in any way, everyone has an opinion and that's fine. I was just hoping you could see add-ons are more than just flying numbers all over your screen.

[EDIT 1]PS - I don't play the game full time like this, during dungeons (especially veteran) it helps me out a LOT as a healer to see when my buffs are up or not. I don't go as far as flying numbers though, a have a log box that I ignore for my twitch viewers. Oh, and I'm for optional text chat. It's really nice to be on voice chat on PC, and still be able to be in other chats. This helps when people don't have a mic (and yes, I have already met quite a few console players that don't use them), and when someone asks a question in guild chat - even though I'm in a group and on voice with them - I can still answer that question. On console, I am restricted. Either everyone in the guild has to listen to someone saying "Run over here" "I need a res" "Out of magicka" - or we need to be in group chat and I cannot communicate with guildmates in any way. As well, I can chat with my guild full time out questing, and if I meet up with someone, can easily type /say in chat and talk with them, on console I have to take the time to leave my guild chat and enter area chat to speak with them - it makes me feel very restricted socially.

[EDIT 2] Oh, and I can't say this enough. I do love this game. On both platforms.

The game truly is awesome
My only gripe isn't even of the game, but of the forums
The Mods are proper killjoys and over-use their rights they've been given
Anytime you say anything bitchy in a jokey way etc. they give you a warning, delete your threads etc.
Absolutely hate these mods, they're the worst mods I've ever seen on a forum

It is technologically impossible because of the network architecture involved in each for this to happen.

Could they be networked together if they were a shared community? Sure.

This one is also loving the game. Granted I am only level 12 but aside from the first 3 days of login issues, it's been a good week 1

I've been fortunate in that I have not experienced any lag in game yet but I have been playing rather early AM (5am) for an hour or so before work. I'm no stranger to mmo games but this is my first go at one on a console. Sorry to hear that the initial PC launch was a rocky one but I have no major complaints at this point and logging on has also been much improved.

I agree for the most part. The game is obviously missing it's poilish with the LFG tool being a complete tool however most of the game is least AA quality. I am enjoying for what it is and being sub free makes it far easier though I wish there was more goodies in the crown store I would want to buy...

Boo. They just released an console version smoother than rock star GTA online and did it while looking devilishly handsome.
Player feedback has to be realistic. If a player goes on the forum and complains there are no spaceship mounts, he does not get to go back to the forums the next week and complain zos isn't listening to feedback.

Be patient. PvP is laggy because its unbalanced and dealing with a gazillion aoe effects.
Its a solid game.
Bf4 had more problems and it is only PvP. These guys have all the problems of three genre types.
Give it time.

From my own experience, I might guess that pve is more important to more players and the ones that might try PvP just get zerged by no lifers protecting their buff servers. So if no new people are joining PvP and having fun why would zos rush to fix that first? Again that is just my opinion.

Agree the game is beautiful and quests are pretty good.

Complaints- very hard to meet people or find a good guild, seems like no one uses mic chat.
Pissed me off they let maxed out guys from PC transfer to console, this really left a bad taste in my mouth, I do really enjoy pvp and it's a game killer to know there's people I'll never catch. When i preorder a game I expect to start on equal ground. But I just probably will ignore pvp and enjoy the pve.
