How Much Would You Pay for the New Assistants?

So, the new Banker and Vendor assistant have finally been, formally, announced.

And the price is 5,000 crowns.

Keep in mind the banker does not allow access to your guild banks, and the vendor cannot repair items.

How much would you actually be willing to spend.

Yeah, in retrospect... especially given the price, it's really weird these guys don't work in Cyrodiil. It's like they don't want PvPers spending money. I could understand if the Banker simply didn't process Tel Var stones... but... yeah, it's weird.

I can see their worth, especially since others can interact with them, but honestly 100$ for two useful pets is just too much for me....

I say 2500 for the bank and 2500 for the merchant and for a bundle 5000 crowns for both, if you wanted to buy them together that would be the preferred price range they should set these for.
This is what they really need to do, and this will get them a lot of money as well.
Would also like to see other assistants Packing guar holds up to 60 items that could be for 5000 crowns I would pay that much for that.
Vampires Thrall could be for 1000 crowns and useable anywhere for vampires that want to feed with ease!
Gathering assistants they will gather items for you, when near a node but only up to 60 each, and that way you don't really have to farm for them your selfs but you have to manually be near the nodes those could be up to 5000 crowns each.
Guild Bank Assistant could be useful, and allow you access to the guild bank could be 1000 crowns
Guild Store Merchant allows you to select a guild store that has a slot in your faction and look for items without having to go the location this could be up to 5000 crowns.

This is the pricing they need to do for these assistants.
This would help them gain more money because people would be willing to open the wallets for such conveniences.
I am sure this is the goal to make more assistants in the future.

The reason why they need to make gathering assistants 5000 crowns (Edit because lol I put wrong word here no way I would pay 5000 dollars for that ) is because of the fact we don't want everyone to have them, this would be expoited for sure by afkers if not with a steap price
Guild Store merchant 5000 crowns because this is very valuable and it would be a smart price for these That way people can find a guild store, and get the items they want to buy, people would pay that steap a price for that I think.
Vampires thrall 1000 crowns would be a good price because I would buy it and this way I don't have to worry about a bounty and it would be usefull when I am rping and want to keep my character at a certain stage or am rping in areas that don't have anyone close by to feed on which makes this assistant a must have.
The packing guar with the pack on its back would be very useful it would act as a mini bank and I would pay 5000 crowns for this.

Its one that they really need to add to the game, either in crown store or in game itself but its a must have!
For me at least and other rpers and they will make money off that one because I would buy it!

Combat Follower or nothing, I can do without a banker follower. But if it gets to a point where I have too much gold, then maybe I'll pick one up for in game currency, but not real money it's not that important.

Well blood potions would be nice to have, but the Vampires Thrall Assistant would be better.
Besides, it would be smart move to make a Vampires Thrall assistant, this would give more options to the crown store as well as give us rpers and others that want to keep fed, the means of doing it at ease. Blood potions would work but yeah I am sure they would be a rare recipe and require farming ingredients.

I would like to be able to change the appearance of some of the assistants maybe when they add, the customization in game we could change the looks of them, and it would allow us to make every thrall or assistant look different from each other. Also we should be able to name them what we want, maybe to others they will only see it as Banker, or Vampires Thrall but to us we could have it named anything we wanted to name it.

I would like to see as well, costume Helms being there own slot that replaces any helm, even on normal costumes, skins there own slot that could be worn with costumes. Tabards there own slot, and can be worn with skins and most costumes.
They got work ahead of them but if they appeal to us like this it would be very beneficial to them.

And I'm a man who can afford whatever I want, and even I can't bring myself to pay this. I think I would feel violated lol.

5k is very ridiculous for such content. Very poor decision making from ZOS on this one.

They should base their pricing off price elasticity of demand. At the 5000 crowns its currently set at, the increase in price is very very responsive and changes the demand and evidently from the poll the demand is low. Also evidently from the poll, the demand would increase if the add on was between 1000-2000 crowns.

5000 crowns for a few minutes time saver that are both seperate if you think about it.

Its 10,000 crowns for the banker and the merchant too.

Without the ability for the vendor to repair, i am not interested in getting these. Maybe if I was doing Maelstrom arena it would be a different story but atm I am not.

I spent all my ESOplus crowns on crafting motifs, soul gems, XP scrolls & respecs. & I paid in crowns for IC & Wrothgar DLC. That consumed all my crowns.

Guild Bank and Repair are the two services I usually need the most when I am taking a break from questing, grinding, or whatever else. Honestly, calling a break when our inventory gets full allows us to decompress a bit, get a bite to eat, and plan our next venture. Since part of that process is breaking down inventory for materials, storing them, and doing repairs on my equipment, a portable NPC doesn't really serve my needs that well.

I just don't understand why anyone would pay real money for such a frivolous item, let alone $50, or even $25 if you bought crowns during a sale. I paid less than that for the game ($23 used). Maybe I am cheap or poor or what-have-you, I just don't see the value.

I have been playing RPGs for close to thirty years now, MMOs not quite so much, but enough. A part of EVERY one of them is inventory management, going all the way back to the days of Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior for those old enough to remember the NES). At some point, loot-*** like myself just have to come to grips with the fact they can't carry anymore, hopefully not halfway through a dungeon (Oh! the decisions!). So, just like every Elder Scrolls title yet, a trip back to town is necessary. Luckily, if I am feeling a little lazy, a trip to any wayshrine in the world that I have discovered is a mere 146 GP away. If I am not lazy, I'll hoof it. It's a part of the game that I actually enjoy and I hope stays that way.

We are living in the time of instant gratification and "I want it now, because!" Unfortunately, I believe that this is a cash grab at people's impatience. And I implore you to save your hard earned cash regardless of how much you may have. Enjoy and play the game. Stop to hear the symphony of hammer on anvil in Davon's Watch. And for all that is good, take a break just to smell the bugloss.

I think they are missing s golden opportunity to have had some really cool quest lines for a chance to earn one in game play, they could have offered them for sale later, for around 2.5k, I don't think the are worth more than what most DLC's sell for.
I know they are a for profit company, but I would bet a weeks pay if I had a weeks pay lol, that they would have sold more at 2k than they will at 5k, and made a lot more money.

Maybe they realised that adding these assistants would make people not need to come back to towns, making the game seem even more dead than it already does, and so decided to price them out of most people's budget...
