So if lizardy people should become bigger lizzards..
and khajiity people should become bigger divine icons of the humble epitome of greatness..
then should humans not become giant hairless, and likely confused, orangutans...or nords...
and wouldn't elves just become giant piles of....elf?
The point made by most people asking for Argonians to become more like mini-behemoths or were-crocodiles, etc, is that they are already a "beast race". Men and mer could become werewolves or werebats (the latter exist for NPCs) or whatever as a matter of Hircine unleashing their inner beast, but, the thinking goes, if you are already bestial why not amp up what's already there? So if lizardy people should become bigger lizzards..

^ We in the A-X have discussed this a few times, since there are several of us who are WWs ICly. It would make more sense for us to become werecrocs or something. And we wouldn't even need new Abilities just a bipedal croc skin and good to go. Even the Ability names could remains the same.Just making it so that all Argonians become large lizards? I disagree with that. Werewolf is the curse of the wolf... you turn into the strain of Lycanthropy you were cursed with. In ESO we currently only the Werewolf strain.
I would be more than happy if ZOS were to include Werecrocodiles and Werelions (both supported by lore) and then Argonian and Khajiit players could choose to be infected by those curses if they so desire.

*Imagines a Werecroc using Pounce and lols*

Agacephs: Most have needle-like faces and vary in color from bright green to orange. Found in inner Argonia near the Hist.
Paatru: Described as "toad-like", they live in the inner part of Argonia.
Sarpa: Described as being "winged", though it's unclear if this is meant literally or not. They live in the interior of Argonia.
Nagas: They are described as having "huge mouths filled with dripping needle-like fangs". Usually seven to eight feet tall, the Nagas appear to be more snake-like than other Argonians. When the other races were attempting to put plantations into Argonia, they generally acted as highway robbers; however, since the other races ceased trying to put plantations in Argonia, they have left the roads and have gone back into the inner swamps

At any rate, I don't see ZOS investing resources into a new were-creature anytime soon. Especially one only available to only one player-character race. Maybe they might add werecrocs for Murkmire and make them available to all, but even that is a stretch.
Yeah, I agree that Werewolves should always be large anthropomorphic wolves, but I also wouldn't mind if other forms were available. I was just trying to explain the thinking process behind some common suggestions involving the beast races and lycanthropy.tinythinker wrote: »The point made by most people asking for Argonians to become more like mini-behemoths or were-crocodiles, etc, is that they are already a "beast race". I could get on board with the inner-beast concept @tinythinker if the Hircine quest involved hunting down a "spirit animal" of which there are at LEAST 9 (one representative for each race) and upon killing and consuming the "essence" of that animal, you become a were-whatever.
If that were the case I would totally make a tiny Bosmer female character that turned into a Werebunny.
