I only use the launcher to update the game, the game itself I start via eso.exe directly (no compatibility mode) which I have a shortcut of on my desktop as well.

Thing is it was working perfect, nothing on my system has changed. All of a sudden I need to make changes to get it to work the right way? That just does not make any sense. The one part I have to laugh at is they told me to disable all addons, addons aren't even being touched at that point. Also instead of having a tool to check my system why not make a tool to check their launcher.
But then I have been asking them to make a new launcher from a little after game going live. Also this is the only game I have played where they NEVER update the launcher at least on players side.
But yeah I have been using the eso.exe also and that has to hurt them if we all do that because that means what they are advertising on launcher is never being seen. Isn't that the whole point of the launcher?

While we're investigating this, we would like to clarify a couple of things. Does setting in compatibility mode help with this?
If you have not tried launching in compatibility mode, can you please try and let us know? Thank you again for your patience!

Dont use the launcher to start teh game, only to download patch. When you start the game just go directly to the eso.exe file and go directly into the game from there witout starting the launcher.
Just wondering can you outsource for some actual developers to fix launcher for good?

Seriously!
This is probably the smallest problem on my list with this game but it IS still an issue. Every time there's an issue their knee-jerk response is to "Disable add-ons" in fact it's such a common rebut that even players themselves say it knowing full well it's a load of crap. I've come to the realization that you have to rig the game in any way you can on your own time to solve THEIR problems... For me, the game has always been this way and i'm steadily getting over this horrible experience. This game is not worth my money AND my peace of mind. I shouldn't need a degree in Computer science to play a *** game! Come on now....
