Hey guys!
Hey @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_RichLambert!

so let's start this day with a quote from this week's patchnotes of patch 2.1.7:
Increased the drop chance of the Monstrous Tooth, Mark of the Legion, and Bloody Claw Trophy Vault items.

To be honest I was quite excited to see this and was full of hope to start farming the proper mobs to finally get the tiny chance to find a perfect Ring of Agility.

But the truth is... it just got me even more frustrated and here is why:

I am a DC player and the "best" spot to farm Claws and Teeth are the rooms north of General Zamachar.
I didn't count the exact number but the mobs are setup something like this:
- 4 Deadroth
- 4 Harvester
- 3 Ogrim
- 14 Clanfear
- some human/dremora mobs

From all the hours of farming I never noticed a single Claw or Tooth drop from ANY of the harder mobs (Deadroth, Ogrim, Harvester) and the Clanfear drop like 1-2 Claws every round you completely clear the rooms.

Compared to the rooms near our DC spawn (for Legion Marks, Planar thingies) or the undead-farm-rooms just west of the sewers center this is ridiculous for two reasons:
- For Claws and Teeth (which only seem to drop randomly from bossed for me) you have to kill way more semi-elite mobs - The undead-farm-area has like 1-2 semi-elite mobs and like 40 Bloodfiend insta-kills?
- The drop chance itself even for easy mobs (Clanfear) is still like Claws and Teeth don't exist at all

So you want to tell us you increased the drop rates? By what? 0.01%?

Don't get me wrong, I am fine with the fact I have to work for my gear but seeing every guild mate posting he managed to open another chest and got a Ring of Willpower makes me wanna smash my keyboard into the monitor when I look at the 5 Claws I managed to loot during a 2 hour farm session.

Please revisit both, the composition of mobs in several sewer areas AND the overall drop rates for Claws and Teeth.
If you still think we need to kill the harder Deadroth, Harvesters and Ogrims for Claws and Teeth I am fine with it but please make them drop at least 1 Trophy for every kill so you get the feeling of getting rewarded and not like it is today: You get the feeling of ZOS fooling us...

Looking forward to your response and the next couple of incremental patches!

I'm Pact, and 15-20 hours of solo farming (4 nights play) those has netted me 3 in total...stamblade, so yes chasing agility also.
Guild store has literally dozens of willpower options anyone would ever want for sale, & several endurance options...says a lot about our success rate on drops...

Of course I did but the drop chances are the same, mob respawn timers are longer than in sewers, the overall mob density is even lower in the districts, too and the risk of getting killed by enemy players is higher.

So it's not better up there, even if you don't take the risk of getting killed into consideration because when I farm trophies I don't care about TV stones.

Well if i think about the AD District, dont know the Name right now, there are plenty of Daedroths.
For one farmrun in a circle i would Need 10-15mins,
I would say i will kill in one run 7-10 daedroths.

Sure but as I wrote above, Deadroths don't seem to drop anything at all for me. I killed like 50+ Deadroth, Harvesters and Ogrims in the past couple of days and I got 0 (zero) teeth or claws from Deadroths, Harvesters and Ogrims.

Arboretum is a District having many Deadroths but you often need to kill them with their 2 side mobs (usually Dremora fire casters) and still get some Planar thingies out of teh Dremoras but no (or little if I am just unlucky) Claws or Teeth from doing Deadroth kills.

Well if that's the case it's still not the point.

If you compare the time you need to farm 60 Ether or Shards to the time you need to farm Claws and Teeth it's still way off and not even close to each other slapping every Stamina based character into his/her face.

My drops from grinding AD sewers, just running around:

    Bloody Claws 131
    Bone Claws 250
    Dark Ether 46
    Mark of the Legion 245
    Monster Tooth 19
    Planar Armor Scraps 139

I've done a couple of zergs into other faction areas to kill the bosses but the majority has been solo grinding in AD sewers. The agility trophies seem much rarer than the others. As the OP stated most of the monster teeth have dropped from bosses, I can't recall ever finding one from a normal mob.

In AD arent Mobs which drop Ether or Tooths,
well 2-3 daedroths Close to the Center.

dont know wath the Spider Drops.

I always thought it was unfair that dc players made tons of gold farming and selling trophies for willpower set or selling the set

Sure you can use those millions to buy agility stuff from some poor ad chap that farmed claws when the coast was clear and no 30 man blue zerg was farming ad players

I never really bothered with the clanfears, i just ran past them to get to the shards farm spots

Beesting, Bosmer Magica DK, AD EU, crafter
Slager, Dunmer Magica DK, DC EU, pvp

Again I farmed roughly 3 hours today and only Clanfear seem to drop Claws (still quite rare).

Out of all the Deadroths, Harvesters and Ogrims I killed today (easily a total of 40-50) they didn't drop a single trophy (and no, I didn't miss it).

So @ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JasonLeavey and @ZOS_RichLambert I would say this may even be a bug and not just a tiny drop rate...

    Please fix this!

Right after today's weird maintenance, the drop rate for teeth skyrocketed -- 2 out of every three kills was netting a tooth. On top of that, almost every kill was netting some kind of loot. I got like 30 teeth in an hour or so. Took a break for a few hours, came back, and now it's like 1 tooth for every 15 kills again, and maybe every 4th or 5th kill was lootable.

ETA: This was in Arbor District.

I think there is an issue with Monster Teeth in the sewers. I have gotten Monster Teeth in the city districts, not a very good drop rate, but they do drop. However, in the sewers I swear I have never gotten a Monster Tooth from a regular mob. And I have killed more Daedroth and Ogrim than you can shake a stick at (there are a decent amount of them in first area of DC sewers). I will get a Monster Tooth occasionally from a sweeper boss, but never from a regular mob.

So before I got to work today I went to the same district and I can confirm, the Deadroth there drop Monstrous Tooth. I cleared the outer circle two times in 30 minutes which are roughly 20 Deadroth kills and I got 5 teeth out of it.
That is at least something but still way off compared to the drop chances of Dark Ether or Bone Shards for example, especially if you take into account that you are fighting fewer mobs and also harder mobs for Claws/Teeth.

However, the sewer problem seems indeed like a bug and should get fixed asap on top of the fact that the overall drop chances for Agility gear trophies need some decent love.

And that was from before the "improvement"
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Agreed, I did an experiment.

I farmed for 1 hour in the bloodmist area where you get shards and ether, I got 50-60 of each of those.

I farmed for 1 hour in the ad clannfear area, I got around 10 claws and 1 montrous tooth.
