This game is horrible. Why?

I was invited to join a Guild.
I was thinking ok I'm a healer I could support them. Wrong.
I Traveled to player and I was put at the nearest Fast Travel and no one was there.
There was nothing to lead me next to the Guild member I wanted to support with Healing.
Later on
I invited players to a group Thinking I could support them with healing. Wrong again.
People did join the Group but they was all the boss doing there own misions.
I could see there V as I walked around, mind you there is no V onscreen for your own Guild.
They still had problems either finding me or I would goto them and they had moved on Teleporting to where ever.
When you turn the volume down because people are sleeping playing together as a group is impossible.
Teleport to player does not teleport you next to the player at all.
Goodnight.
Who thinks this Teleporting to player needs a update?

Your title is massive troll bait. You say the game is HORRIBLE based on your inability to figure out how to teleport to someone and then find them. That's why you are getting the responses you are getting.

I say this in the nicest possible way, but perhaps you should put a little more thought into your threads as I've noticed you have a tendency to ramble about nothing. Alternatively, start a blog of some description where you can post your inner most thoughts sort of thing, the general discussion really isn't the place for it.

I feel embarrassed that you are defending the idea that the game is horrible because he can't figure out teleport.

I'm all for complaining about the game. I do about bugs and development decisions.

But making a title that says THIS GAME IS HORRIBLE then following it up with that argument is just plain silly.

Unfortunately there's probably not a lot devs can do unless someone is being racially or sexually discriminative or just flat out abusing and/or harassing you. (I haven't actually read the terms of use but every social game I've played has a very similar structure to its forum rules)

So if your asking the mods to do something about these people treating others like "dirt bags" technically your also asking them to do something about you. I'm not saying that your treating anyone like dirt. Merely that everyone has a right to speak their mind. In turn anonymity and the Internet has made everyone an untouchable giant that can say whatever they want to whoever they want without the fear of getting a broken nose.

Never did much group stuff so I can't say how well others show on the map while grouped. Your experience while grouped you described as being all over the place , doing their own thing. At least that sounds like less the games fault , more the players. Nothing ZoS can do about making players in a group know what they're doing.

I see alot of players just standing outside a dungeon etc just randomly giving group invites , getting their quests done and leaving asap , not knowing or not caring if the others in the group are done in the place. Again , hate the player , not the game.

Who thinks this Teleporting to player needs a update?

Going from 1 to vr 10 is pretty much a solo game. You can grind with friends 90% of the way with a few stops to unlock a few things you must do solo but there isn't much demand for teamwork before vr 10. Even the non-vet dungeons don't require teamwork and you can simply wait till you hit VR 10, team with one low level guy equal to the dungeon's level or lower and set the dungeon to essentially solo content.

PVP requires teamwork to be rewarding.
Trials require teamwork, though they are easy content.
Vet dungeons require light teamwork and are easy content.
VDSA and DSA require teamwork and modest personal ability.

To find people you are grouped with go to their marker on the map. Sometimes you can't travel to where they are because they are at a different part of the story than you and the map section you are in is not in the same state as theirs.

I agree with almost all that you said but I dont classify sanctum or hm sanctum as easy content. I think they are considerably harder then vdsa.

How can you say there is no demand for teamwork? What about vet dungeons? What about the myriad of other group activities like the public dungeons? Nevermind the whole pvp aspect and group delves in cyrodill.

The Horror. The Horror.

Horrible? I think that's a bit strong, especially since this mainly seems to be about the "Teleport to Player" feature and some in-game miscommunication.

It is true that "Teleport to Player" takes you to the nearest wayshrine instead of the player, and that can indeed be a hassle, but it's not a dealbreaker as long as you and your companions know that and take it into account when planning.

The megaserver instancing can definitely be annoying, but once you're grouped up and together, the game does a pretty good job of keeping you together. Mostly.

As for healing, it's definitely possible to be a strong support for your group, but a good idea to keep in mind that healing skills (or players in general) are not directly targetable. They can still be very strong, nonetheless, especially if you build for them.

My advice is to be patient, not get too worked up and take a little time to get familiar with ESO's... peculiarities. Once you do, the game itself is pretty awesome -- though still admittedly a work in progress.

Also, please don't take the comments in this thread too personally. Some of what you posted is, well, "comedy gold", and I hope once you've gotten more familiar with the game (and have fun!), you can appreciate the humor.
