This game is horrible. Why?

    I think there are 3 parts to this the OP doesn't understand.

    1. Teleport to player takes you into the instance of the player you teleport to. This is important in a crowded area where there may be multiple instances of the same area.
    2. Teleport to player takes you to the closest way shrine, not to the player themselves.
    3. There is phasing in place in some areas. When you complete a quest line sometimes the area changes. Where once there were dangerous mobs, it may now be peaceful. If you travel to a group member in an area where they have completed a quest, and you have not, you will still be in separate instances and only able to see their ^ symbol and not them. This is more of an issue with low level areas.

    How about you trolls making fun of OP stop for a moment and consider if the zoning in this game is actually difficult to understand, especially for a player that may be new.

    Hell, I've played this game for a year and still get pissed when another trader and I are in the same group and same location of a zone, but different instance of that location and unable to interact with each other.

    Strange.

    When I want to help someone/group I ask for an invite. That gives me the markers for the other group members. Or I ask the person where they are, and head for the same dolmen, group boss, whatever. If its to help with a quest, I make sure I haven't done it yet, or realize that I'll only be able to kill mobs because I've done the quest already.

    There may be many reasons why some players believe this game is horrible, but your opening post isn't really good evidence for them.

    By the way, the posters who have numbers and ESO after their names are not employees of Zenimax. They are beta testers who haven't had their names changed. Any Zenimax Online Studios employee that posts here in an official capacity has a screen name that starts with ZOS_. Look at ZOS_Amelia or ZOS_AlanG for examples.

    Going from 1 to vr 10 is pretty much a solo game. You can grind with friends 90% of the way with a few stops to unlock a few things you must do solo but there isn't much demand for teamwork before vr 10. Even the non-vet dungeons don't require teamwork and you can simply wait till you hit VR 10, team with one low level guy equal to the dungeon's level or lower and set the dungeon to essentially solo content.

    PVP requires teamwork to be rewarding.
    Trials require teamwork, though they are easy content.
    Vet dungeons require light teamwork and are easy content.
    VDSA and DSA require teamwork and modest personal ability.

    To find people you are grouped with go to their marker on the map. Sometimes you can't travel to where they are because they are at a different part of the story than you and the map section you are in is not in the same state as theirs.

    I agree with almost all that you said but I dont classify sanctum or hm sanctum as easy content. I think they are considerably harder then vdsa.

    Before we pretty much stopped doing trials we were doing payed runs for Scaled court brown, carrying 2 at a time. It's really not so bad with champ points in the right places and some dance dance revolution talent.

    the fact that ppl where paying you guys for that kind of supports it not being easy.
