I did that quest 2 or 3 times (different characters) pre-nerf, and I never had any trouble with it. It seemed like pre-nerf Doshia was way harder. She gave me fits on my first character.starkerealm wrote: »The Harvester in Halls of Torment, back before she got nerfed.

It's actually really easy if you're not suffering from latency and you interrupt appropriately. The problem with the boss you're talking about is that if you've got any latency going on (especially if it's fairly bad) you won't be able to interrupt in time, and Casso will basically insta-heal without you being able to stop it. I've done the quest while I was suffering from latency and it was impossible. I gave up for the evening, came back and did it the next day and it was a piece of cake.Pancake-Tragedy wrote: »Back in the day, Doshia was a major PITA.

I disagree the quest I speak of is in southern Reapers March. It might surprise you it certainly did me.

Yeah, I agree, that harvester wasn't too big a deal (after all you do have the other companions with you too, at this point). Those skellingtons guarding Mannimarco though, could go for a bike ride through Derry wearing "Ithe British Paras" T-shirts...

Edit to add: the experience I'm talking about above was doing it in a Cadwell's Silver zone, but it probably applies regardless of the level you're doing it at: I've also done that quest 3 times on AD characters at-level, and had no problem with it on them, as I wasn't suffering from latency.
Well maybe that was what was going on I just couldn't seem to keep him hurt no matter how many times I interrupted. Then he also hits very hard with his spells.
Yeah, if you can't get the timing right on interrupting the heal (and if you're suffering from latency it's damn near impossible to get the timing right) then Casso is virtually unbeatable. If you get the timing right, though, you'll maybe take a couple of big hits, but you'll win with ease. It's actually really easy if you're not suffering from latency and you interrupt appropriately. Those of us saying Doshia are talking about pre-nerf Doshia... Now she's a pushover (post-nerf I have actually one-shotted her with Silver Bolts). Back then, she was tough. Especially as she was very likely the first Harvester you'd encounter, and odds are you didn't know the mechanics of how they work and how to beat them. Or at least I didn't.Artemiisia wrote: »hehehe, lots of people saying doshia, but look at my signature
