This for me too. Pre-nerf (and in beta) I thought Norion was even worse than Doshia... he made me ragequit at least a dozen times. If I remember right it was only level 8 but my poor NB just kept croaking. Managed to beat him some 4 levels later.

I remember a boss for a quest somewhere in AD that was nigh impossible to beat because she would heal, couldn't be interrupted, and basically completely healed herself instantly. Even grouping another player did nothing to help.

The dark mane pre-nerf. That moment when you kill his tank and dps adds, get his health low, then he suddenly respawns both adds with full health on top of you like

Also the last boss at Abamarth who repeatedly spams her self heal until anything besides a tank runs out of stam trying to interrupt it. Then she's back to full health in 3 seconds. Haven't fought her since beta, but I'd imagine she's nerfed by now.

Balreth in beta was pretty hardcore too. He was much more tanky, hit harder, and the mechanic to stop his self heal worked maybe 1/4 of the time. It's almost sad fighting him now. Giant skeletal construct that single handedly defeats a covenant assault dies like one of the tankier trash mobs

Those of us saying Doshia are talking about pre-nerf Doshia... Now she's a pushover (post-nerf I have actually one-shotted her with Silver Bolts). Back then, she was tough. Especially as she was very likely the first Harvester you'd encounter, and odds are you didn't know the mechanics of how they work and how to beat them. Or at least I didn't.

I know how she was, I prefer her like she was before the nerf hammer

with 2.0, I also killed molag bal naked, where is the challenge when u dont need to wear armor in the game

For me, Mannimarco in Sancre Tor, with my stamina melee nightblade main. I just couldn't do it, mostly through lack of decent AoE to burn down his ghosts, and lack of a decent ranged interrupt for his pale beam of doom. But back then content didn't scale, so a couple levels later (as in, nine...) I barely managed to scrape by...

Funny thing, my templar blacksmith alt has both those and wrecked him at level 40 without ever needing her selfheals or falling under 75% HP. Nikulas heavy armor for the win, I guess.

And every single alt since has done better then my main. Oh, well, much of it likely is also the joy of actually wearing some bits of set armor instead of just random pieces with my first character at that point...


But this was the only solo-PvE fight I ever had where I just felt I had no chance at all. Every other boss I may occasionally go and fail at first, but once I figure out the fight I did them in. Some more difficult then others, but all quite doable.

I actually miss the increased difficulty of enemy NPCs. I thought it made the game a lot more fun.
