This game is TOO easy (PVE)

Please, tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this :(

I never die. My HP never even goes to less than half of my bar. I don't even need to use my tanky spells because there's just no point. I'm a level 24 DK, using level 15 armour., and I'm still bored stiff because of the easiness of this game. My weapons are even old, and I feel that I'm going to have to dumb myself down even more, just to get a challenge.

Please, make it harder!!!

The challenge was supposed to be veteran leveling.

But that was nerfed into the ground.

I don't really care tbh, all I care about is the story. The easier the fighting is, the better.

That's fine, but what about those who want a challenge? There should be a way to balance this. I find it ridiculous in games like this, when you have to dumb yourself down to get a challenge.

I agree the game is way too easy. You can just spam spell in combat and steamroll through, only stopping to let your stam/magic regen. It used to be good at VR levels before the huge nerf in that you actually had to build a good character and think about what you were doing. Good times.

You are complaining about the game being too easy because you aren't even out of the starter zones yet. The starter zones are supposed to be easy.

Wait until you try Veteran City Of Ash, Sanctum Ophidia, Hel Ra Citadel, or Veteran DSA and then come back and tell me the game is too easy.

OK, another test: I just had a fight with a few enemies, including daedroth, bandit cutthroat, and enforcer, and they only attacked me once every 3-5 seconds. What the hell? The fight with the daedroth was at an anchor location, and I cleared it with one guy, until a bunch of others came running up at the end. So boring.

The challenge in the game is PvP. It's simply too bad that it takes ~400 hours of questing, and now ~3600 hours of earning champion points before you can actually be competitive with other players. But don't worry, if you play every day you'll get there in about 2 years.

So instead of complaining, set your home campaign to Thornblade, enter Cyrodiil, and enjoy getting a train pulled on you by VR14's. Hey, you said you wanted a challenge....

I doubt the game will be made challenging again for general pve as Zos has to cater for all the derps that just want to push the "I win" button. There is more challenging content in the form of dungeons and trials at endgame though.

they need to take a page out of GW2's book, and scale characters to the level of the area they currently in. we of course get to keep our bonuses and skills, so things would still be somewhat easy, but at the very least bosses and mobs will have a modicum of challenge to them, and things of our actual level will be challenging, but not ridiculously difficult

    Game's too easy for you?

Then wear Level 1 armor (or prison garb) with no enchantments, make sure you eat no food or drinks at all, and carry no potions with you.

    Then wade face-first into fights.

The game should then become challenging for you.

Loads of people were complaining at launch so they nerfed it from easy to *** easy

Well the game used to be a lot harder at launch but then lots of players moaned saying it was too hard so it got nerfed (if anyone can remember how Doshia fight was early game). And the vet levels used to be unforgiving also pulling loads of mobs would destroy you.

Personally i don't mind either way as I judge a games difficulty on its endgame (PVE) and while ESO is not a hard MMO there is still challenge there like already has been stated Vet DSA and Sanctum plus the Trials at Hardmodes.

Just try and enjoy the quests for the story not the challenge and you can always have a go at solo'ing the public dungeons for a challenge while questing these were designed to be run with 2 players plus, But some classes and experienced players can solo them.

A lot of people actually enjoy to meet a challenge while leveling. For a lot of players, me included, leveling IS the journey, and is important. We want to take our time and to have the possibility to train our skills while learning the game and enjoying it. Not every player run as fast as possible through the content to arrive in end game.

The game was already too easy in beta, but it was still okay. Gear and build had their importance. Crafting was more meaningful. But Zenimax nerfed the content patches after patches. It sad for those that enjoy leveling. AND NO, running around naked do not make up for it.

Be reassured @Willyoke end game is harder, and some veteran dungeon present a REAL challenges. But the leveling IS easy. And it will not improve.

Yep, you can definitely solo dolmens and world bosses if you are a skilled player.

Also @Willyoke is playing a DK which is generally considered to be the most OP class. If he would like a challenge, I suggest he try playing a sorc.

Yeah, I could do this, and then possibly get a better challenge, and then I'd miss all of the nice quests, and gear (which I can't really use anyway because it'll make the game too easy). When I arrived in Wayrest, all of the enemies were actually several levels higher than me, and I still got no challenge out of it.

Why don't you come back when you are v14 and finished the content, atleast then you can judge the game properly... a few hrs of game play is hardly enough to comment on this. All mmo's are made to be simple through a certain amount of content to allow ppl who are new to the mmo experience a grace period to get a handle on how things work... what makes you think this game would be any different.
