So I made my character back during early access and there was this awesome dragon tattoo that rolls across his chest. I figured I'd take that because I have a smaller, but similar tattoo on my shoulder and what is a roleplaying game but being you only better.
I settle on my tattoo and look for the slider or buttons or whatever to change the color aaaaaaaaand....
Nothing.
It's black or black or black and that's all she wrote. Okay, I can deal with that black line and fill work is a standard, but colored tattoos have been around for centuries and it would only take about 20 minutes to go in with any imaging software and 'fill' the current monotone tattoos with a variety of colors. Okay, setting the slider / buttons to change your ink in the character creator would take longer, but it could be done relatively quickly.
Moving right along.
Then I got into the game and I'm running around and I'm wearing my armor a few months later now I realize I'm loving this but I can't see my ink! I spent well over an hour building my face and body and testing what looks good and what doesn't and I can't see one of my most distinguishing features unless I take my chest piece off. That looks silly because I'm still wearing shoulders and gloves, not to mention the hat.
Then I remember playing through Oblivion and (though it was modded heavily) there being GLASS armor. A light set of full armor that would allow you to see the body under it in all it's tattooed glory.
We spent all that time on our characters and they give us the option of all these accessories to gives us the individuality for our characters and at best we see their face.
