Yes, last night I was having some lag issues where I could not perform certain actions...then all of them would kick in at once. Not certain if this is my local server or game.

Same problem as the OP for me as well. Cant use an ability, attack, block, or anything. I'm only able to move, and take hits. It's not something I can recreate, but it happens occasionally, and results in death almost every time.

Relogging seems to work.

Also, I can no longer summon my mount on one of my characters. very strange. If I attempt to summon a mount while autowalking, the character stutter-steps as if to perform an action, then just carries on walking.

Several reboots, relogs, and deaths later, still no mount.

I came here to see if there was a fix for this. I will try the loading and exting the menu thing... hopefully that helps.

this seems to only happen with dual wield nightblades. Never happens on my sorc. Slow movement and unable to use any hotkeys. disabled all addons.
temp fix: toggle character screen and back to normal. spent around 5k in repairs so far from this bug.

This is happening to me as well (dual wield Nightblade). It's been happening occasionally up until last night where it happened almost every fight I was in. I'll try the ESC twice method to break it, but wow I died a lot because of it! Like I should be compensated for the repair bill! LOL. It's quite embarrassing to be killed by a banekin that is 3 levels lower than you because you can't attack or run away!

I can not have 2 weapon sets anymore. I can switch weapons as long as it is 2 dual wield stes. other wise. It wont let me switch even with empty bags.

Opening ANY UI window will break this bug, inventory, mail, guild, journal, map, even just hitting the Alt key, once the UI window has been opened use any method you like to close it (Alt, Esc or just simply moving your character) and the bug will be cleared.

Relogging will remove the slow walk thing. This is a recent development for me but the non responsive thing is not new to me.

It happens every few hours at least. Except for one time when I jumped off a dock into water I have died. Dying used to reset things. Now it does the slow walk.

Sometimes I am locked onto the target. Running away makes me face the enemy and I cannot get out of melee range although I can circle it.

It's bollocks. I have wasted thousands in repair bills from this bug.

The last few times have been on stairs/steps so I wonder if the height/level difference between mob/player has any impact. I don't recall being on different levels every time but I don't record this sort of data so I dunno.... Just tossing this point in to confuse things.

Can confirm this, I had the same problem and found that doing this fixed it 100% of the time.

I experience this too, very often, and almost always in combat. There is no real lead for me on what causes it, but the simplest idea I think is server lag/latency issues, something else I think might be related is the use of the SHIFT key in relation to it blocking the use of the ability bar: the 'Shift' status suffers from latency and this causes an argument when communicating with the server.

Regardless, fixing this mostly works far quicker than /reloadui so I thought I'd share: I just hit ALT or ESC twice to go in menu and back to the game. This has fixed the issue every single time for me, and is even doable in most combat situations. Immediately after returning to the game the character is functional again.
