Wasn't the Warden class just renamed to the Templar class?
What would be cool is if the class themselves morphed for example a Sorcerer at lvl 50/V1 would be presented with an option to morph into a Wizard, Necormacer, Witch or Warlock. This way they can branch off and these would present 3 new possible skill choices and 3 new passives that focus on the new line. It would be a promotion or a point to specialize in something and define our characters a little more.
Nightblade could Morph into Ranger, Assassin, Thief, or Scout.
Templar (I don't know the lore in Elder Scrolls for templars but because they are healers and warriors)could Morph into a Crusader, Priest, Sentinel, Warrior.
Dragon Knight could morph into Barbarian, Demon Slayer, Berserker, Dreadnaught.
Just some ideas

Interesting ideas, @Sord , though they would require more specialization. I know games many moons ago that had this feature. It lead to specific and powerful builds, but you also chose carefully when the time came.
Keeping the baseline class was also an option.
I suspect you'll indirectly see a version of this with Champion Points - the ability to fine-tune your character.
By the way, options for Templar and DK you missed include Knight and Paladin.

Also I could see that happening for a legit expansion pack but definitely not right now.
Less classes in the future. I'd like to see the class system transform into the TES system.
