you probably make the most selling stuff in traders. It amazes me the stuff people will buy.
Better question is how much gold do you actually need to do what you want to do.
Agree with the fact that there is good gold to be made from daily writs but if all writs are being done at the same level, the resource usage would be enormous.fgoron2000 wrote: »Other is missing from your poll...
My primary source is crafting writs...if you're level 50, you can make at least 50k daily by doing crafting writs and nothing else on 14 chars...it's steady, reliable, and easy...in addition to that, I also get some gold from questing and stealing/fencing

I was doing writs on 8 characters across various levels before Homestead and it worked well, with good income and a good spread of readily available resources required. With master writs only coming from max level writs, changing to max level writs on all characters has been a bit painful.
For 14 characters, if they are all max level writs, you would be using between 500 and 600 Ruby Ash and Rubedite ingots every day and anywhere between 300 and 600 Ancestor silk, plus 100-200 Rubedo Leather. Unless you also put a lot of time into farming or shopping around, the re-supply cost would use a fair portion of immediate profit.
On PS4 NA, Ruby Ash and Rubedite ingots go for between 4k-6k a stack and Ancestor silk averages 15k-16k a stack. As well as doing writs, you would also have to be putting time into selling the excess rewards box items and any improvement tempers/alloys/rosins in order to make up the cost of mats.
