Is it the combat? then stop following Meta builds
Meta might as well stand for "Soon to be nerfed"

So what's so terrible that's happened in the last two years, besides the subclass system?

I have zero interest in scribing, but at least that hasn't hurt my characters if I choose not to use it.
Subclassing, on the other hand, has destroyed class identity and weakened my pure class characters.
Plus other changes, such as losing value with ESO+, and locking new dungeons with plates so they are not soloable.
But subclassing by far is the worst.
Well, I don't know. In the previous three parts of the game series, we could be multiclass. It's strange that we couldn't do it earlier.
If by class identity you mean balance, then I think it will be fixed.
In the future, multiclass will not be as profitable as it is now. It just came out. Nerfs are still ahead.
I tried to create my own multiclass build, but it seemed to me that I only became weaker)
It seems to me that a pure class is still stronger.

And about the dungeons... Now we need to vote to add a story mode or something like that) I also don't really like that I can't go through some dungeons alone.
same here though I’ve done all the new updates and did the subclasses, and I love them all . But I’m just playing less now. Everything feels stale, especially for a game where you have to pay for everything.
I think I've outgrown ESO. My high school self would've been crushed to hear me say that, but the content just isn’t worth the price. The Crown Store feels like a complete ripoff. I can afford it, very easily, but when other games give you way more for way less, buying anything here just makes me feel like a sucker.
ESO needs to wake up and start looking at what the competition’s doing lol
