Ghosthunters quest bug

If you animate the statue, then instead of having it break the growth nearby, go north and east to the other manor entrance, following happens:
* You get the put Valindir into statue part of the quest fail;
* Quest marker moves to the statue again;
* The passage is not blocked;
* If you go through, the quest gets into a messed up state.

    ... And when going to the reanimatorium, the quest is stuck at the "Talk to Valendir" stage. Talking to him does not advance the quest.

    Tried reloading, relogging, changing zones, unsummoning the companion, abandoning and restarting the quest, doing the reanimatorium before the wailing garden, same thing.

    Same problem in the Reanimatorium.

    Deleted and restarted the quest, and the bug is gone.

    I just had the issue in the Reanimatorium. This is after maybe 30-40 minutes since I did the Wailing Gardens first. I really do not want to do all of that again in the hopes that it will work the second time.

    I logged out at the bugged part, will try again tomorrow. If it's still bugged I will abandon and do it after they patch it.

    You could start by the Reanimatorium, it is less that a minute to reach the place it is/was bugged.

    ... Rinse, lather, repeat.

    I tried that way, too, didn't work, either, until like 6th or 7th attempt, bugging at different spots.
    (E.g., one run, couldn't use the statue to put the spirit in, other, couldn't target the valve to direct it there, even by walking over myself, etc.)

    When talking with Siluran, he will speak the first line and then goes silent. When you click your option, he again will say the next line and then go silent again.

    Same here - went through the Wailing Gardens, though I didn't get any "quest failed" notice.

    After talking to Valendir in Lirianwe's party, I jumped down to the Manor Foyer door. None of the quest companions follow. Ignoring the Manor Foyer door and going from there to the Dining Room door, gets the same result. Or backtracking through the gardens.

    Doing this, I get stuck in the Reanimatorium. After the very first conversation with Valendir, he tells me I can use him to animate the statues again, but the quest doesn't advance and stays in the "Talk to Valendir" state.

    Sorry, even after today's patch, I get stuck in the exact same place.

    I take Gahz' route first, going through the garden. After talking to Lirinwe and then Valendir, he sends me to the Reanimatorium.
    From where I talk to him, I jump down to the beginning section of the garden. At his point, I lose Oorbesh and Gahz, they don't follow me at this point.
    I go through the Foyer (the next door and where the quest marker sends me), and from there to the Dining Hall. I am rejoined by the Orcs who take the same positions as when we first came here - at the entrance, Oorbesh crouching, and then at the table.
    I go into the Reanimatorium. The Orcs and Valendir only join me when their scene triggers in front of the stairs. I talk to Valendir, he tells me to use the soul cage on the statue.
    That's where the quest gets stuck. I can't use the soul cage anywhere, I just can talk to Valendir who tells me his one dialogue option.

    @ZOS_Kevin or whoever is in charge of this.

    Also, I sent this as a bug in game but had to omit various details due to character limit. Which is kind of less than ideal.

    Okay, checked in with the team here. We have a fix ready for this, but it was not ready in time for console launch. It will be in an upcoming incremental. In the meantime, the workaround is to abandon the quest and restart. That should reset everything and get past the bug.

    There are a shocking number of quest breaks in Solstice. I've never had to restart quests like this before. Even the prologue gave me a giant headache when trying to get to the correct Earthforge instance...

    Kevin, I forgot to mention, but that wasn't console for me, that was PC/NA. JFYI.

    Same here, that was on PC/EU.

    Also, I have restarted this quest four times now, and once after the patch, to test various ways to go from the garden to the Reanimatorium (but always going through the garden first). My last post was after the patch and after restarting the quest. It does not get around this bug.

    It's not that it doesn't work, it's that you can't see the quest markers. It's Cart, Bone pile and Valve order, but because you can't see the markers, it's hard to tell when to press the button otherwise he just keeps regenerating

    Still isn't fixed. Bugged for me today. Really pathetic that this has been looked at twice and still not resolved.

    @ZOS_Kevin I just wanted to mention that I did not have any problems with this on console, in fact none of the Solstice quests were bugged for me. I don’t know what I might be doing differently since I did the garden before the reanimatorium. I don’t have any companions out when questing and I know they have caused some bugs in the past, so maybe that’s useful.
