Lot of decent quest stories except the final bit of the main one, whose ending was just "meh, now buy the DLC later" rather than any sense of accomplishment so far. Ember's running rapport quest I thought very well done in particular, as is the tribute one although I imagine many people will never grind through the silly card game enough to experience it.
All of it unfortunately is ruined by the incredible bugginess of High Isle and the fact that even the most basic things like having the hinges on the same side of doors each side is messed up all over the place (just look at them as you wander around).
