@Kane_Hart You don't need the Rapid Maneuver ability for Major Gallop at all anymore; that buff has been transferred to the first rank of the Continuous Assault passive. As long as you have that passive you have permanent Major Gallop.

However, with or without that buff, when you press the button to sprint, you get a momentary extra burst that wears off in a second. Sometimes if you run over variable terrain and your mount slows for a moment, when it begins to sprint again you might see that burst repeat. It's just a feature of mounted sprint. Is that what you're experiencing?
