dark elf racial broken?

in the last few days i have been affected by the burning status as a dark elf, it has happened both in pve and pvp. I dont know if its a known issue or not.

Killing your character in game may help with removing the status effect. When reviving, select the option to revive at the nearest wayshrine so that the game must reload your character in a new location.The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited - ZeniMax Online Studios
