Just threw me out of the game for the 4th time recently; twice I got multiple error messages trying to re-log in.
Not in combat
Once in inventory screen
Once trying to sell something (later confirm did put it on guild store)
Once looking in bank

Commonality is that all happened in the Rawl'ka bank
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    What exact error messages have popped up?

    Have you tried disabling add-ons?

    Something similar has been happening to me. No error messages after being thrown back to login screen. I haven't been able to find any commonality in the instances it has occurred either. The frequency is variable even when doing the same activity like farming skyreach. Sometimes it happens every 10 minutes and other times I can go as long as an hour and a half without issue.

    Might be too many pets in the bank causing issues. ZOS may want to look into this and possibly disable pets in banks if it impacts performance in such negative ways.

    NO error messages, and oddly, I don't recall any pets in the bank (but there are always a selection of non combat pets in the bank).

    This was over a period of about 10 min, and seems to have resolved for the moment.

    Usually if I get trouble from addons, I will get the nasty box screen of errors telling me an incomprehensible list of probably what the problem is (and usually looking through the messy comments I can figure out which addon to delete).
