Atmoran Bantam Guar and survey?

I couldn't find anything online about it, so I thought I'd ask if anyone got anything similar.
I got an email from Elder Scrolls support, thanking me for being an active player by gifting me an Atmoran Bantam Guar pet and asking me to take a survey. I'm a bit hesitant to click the link, even though everything looks perfectly legit. I also looked ingame, I DO have the Atmoran Bantam Guar as a pet there. I didn't get a notification about it though (as I normally get with promotion pets from streams etc.), but I could have overlooked it, since I definitely played before seeing the email.

I got it too.

I was thinking maybe it was for having a forum account. That's my only guess. Or maybe for reporting bots? I have no idea.

I complained the other day in my guild about bots taking over my farming areas and one guy was like "they keep the prices cheap" and just 10 minutes before this, this same player was complaining that 15K a week for a trading guild in a capitol city was too much. I wanted to throw a shoe at him.

Oh and by the way. In the german part of the forum one user said he took the survey 2 month ago and still hasn't got his reward. Also no answer from ZOS.

Hey all,

It's not a scam

A small number of players were sent the survey and the Atmoran Bantam Guar. You should have received the survey from ESO_Help@helpmail.elderscrollsonline.com or teso_help@mailmw.custhelp.com and the pet should be in your Collections menu.

I'm glad I saw this, I checked my game-related email and it was in the junk folder.

I thought it was a good survey. The questions seemed thoughtful and not the typical irrelevant mishmash of ratings I usually see.

I did have to laugh at the question that went "You indicated that you do not use I do not look for information on Elder Scrolls Online to get information on Elder Scrolls Online. Why do you not use this information source?"

I'm a little dissapointed, actually. I love bantam guars (or dino chickens as I call them) and most of my friends got the email yesterday afternoon and I haven't gotten it

That's it for this survey, but it's possible we’ll do something like this again or make the Atmoran Bantam Guar available to players in some way in the future.

Just checked in-game after doing the survey, and the pet isn't in my collections. Were the pets supposed to go out at the same time as the emails, or is there a delay?

Man, that sucks. I really got excited for the Atmoran Bantam Guar when I saw it was coming and it turns out it's not purchasable

You never know traveller. Perhaps they might do a giveaway on tweeter or something after they are done with the surveys?

I received a survey a couple days ago and completed it and it had this same funny question! The email with the survey did not mention the quar and its not in my collections, so they might have also sent out similar surveys without the free pet.

I was so excited when I saw one in game. I was obsessed with checking my email for hours. TBH it is disheartning when youve played since launch and put money into the game and didnt get one. I will just admire the other players new cute little pet

(I forgot to add, that I didnt know it was from survey until I saw this, folks were saying they got it from loyalty. )

I had the same, was sent a survey (on a secondary account, that I rarely play), but no mention of a free pet. On my account that I've played and subbed to since launch, I've never even had a survey, let alone a free pet. And yeah it also had the weird question...

Not sure whether I would get it on PC or PS4 as both accounts use the same email.

I also completed a survey but the email had no mention of a guar pet. Not today, I guess.

This is unfair, I help a lot too, I even reported a website that sells items for real money, the post about that was even blocked for ZOS only (it says it is access forbidden or something), and I got nothing

As cute as that little guy is, I'd rather miss out on a bantam guar than any dang kitty (so thanks for not having the special pet be a kitty lol)

It's so rare for companies to give out things for free that they could easily use to nickel-and-dime people in a store. That's what I like about ZoS. It's little things like this that sometimes make the biggest impacts on the playerbase. It shows that there's care, even if it's just a little bit of it.

For documentation purposes, can you take a photo of the pet description and default name
