Double billed

Today is the day my sub renews, which is fine. While checking my bank account today however I noticed I've been billed twice.
I called Microsoft and they said I would have to cancel my subscription to in order to get my 14.99 back for the second charge.
I've never been billed twice on the same day for a sub. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how was it resolved or was it ever resolved?
So basically what happened today is I was charged 14.99 to cancel my sub. Which is really infuriating because just a few days ago I bought a 1500 crown pack lol.
Money isn't really the issue it's the double billing and no warning that forced me to cancel. I don't do business that way lol.
Any help you could offer would be great! Thank you!
