EDIT: A monumentally simple programming 'fix' for this would simply require you to press-and-hold for a short time frame to advocate the intended theft, vice a single misclick. Given the heavy attack bug, it probably wouldn't completely eliminate the issue, but it would likely reduce it considerably.
I do writs on 14 chatacters each day, and at least once per day I accidentally pick something up while trying to turn them in.
Seems like a ZOS troll move to put so many “owned” items around the writ turn in area.

If holding the mouse button for 1/2 to 1 second condones difficulty, this may not be the game for you. Consider it the time it would take to actually place said item in your personal container.
I realize, cumulatively you might lose 30 whole seconds a day by this change, but how much time would others save by not having asinine bounties for low gold items?
nice fail there. You guys[snip] cant click on stuff properly, so instead of learning how to play and clicking on what you want to click on, everyone else should take longer to do what a normal person has no problem doing.
What you are saying is its not ok to waste your time when you screw up, but instead its fine to waste EVERYONES time even when they dont.

so make things more difficult for everyone else because some people dont pay attention on where they click. monumentally stupid idea more like it
M'aiq wonders why we have a "prevent attacking innocents" option but no "prevent stealing" option outside of a third party add-on for PC players. M'aiq wonders why poor innocent people who accidentally touch an apple when trying to talk to a merchant are ruthlessly killed by guards and fed to the dogs. M'aiq does not know why. That is why M'aiq continues to wander.
If you consider an extra second to confirm an action a waste of everyone's time, you have severe time management issues and should probably seek some kind of counselling, pal.

the people who cant click a container claim everyone else has issues? thats rich. dont waste my time by putting in a delay because you cant bloody click a target. the only time i accidently flogged things was when i was doing that in a rush and clicking while still moving. So if you take that extra second, shove it you know where, maybe you'll be able to click a big large box on the screen without missing it.

I'm a seasoned player and I feel as if there should be an option for others to not accidentally steal, just look at the option to prevent attacking innocents. Try to be more understanding of others. After all don't you want eso to improve?
Also, sometimes NPCs move! So you DO point correctly, and just as you click the button, the NPC moves, causing you to steal a damn sweetroll! Not to mention lag...
