It must be tough to get up there now, back when we did it in the closed beta you could use a Warden/Sorc combo to pull your way up using vines/atronach, but that is no longer possible so how did you manage it? Is there still a big invisible wall up there?

There was an invisible wall at the one part. I was so close than i was met with a wall. Very frustrating, i kept going around and eventually i found a clear enough slope to traverse and there was no wall. You could get right into the crater. There is a little volcanic rock type platform right in the near middle ( as seen above ). The lava does not hurt you, it's just a flat texture.
I was a hardcore Morrowind player, so i had a strong urge to make it back to the top. I didn't use much tricks other than crafty jumping and maintaining a calm blood pressure lol. Honestly the whole sorc and warden combo is very smart so i am thoroughly pleased with me doing it solo on my Nightblade. I also had help from my Doom Wolf, Dana. Thanks a lot!

How are they going to explain this gaff? Well my theory is that since the mountain hasn't really been erupting with ash storms etc like in morrowind, its not hard to believe that the entire crater is submerged in lava at this point. But i doubt they would have thought the majority of players would get to this point. They did a good job at blocking off the mountain for the most part.0 -

@asuitandtyb14_ESO You are not supposed to get in there. It is walled off unless you wiggle around trying so not really a canon part of the game. Just textures and stuff so that you can see it from afar but not be able to see what is inside of it. Well you're theory is correct, in that the mountain has only erupted twice in recorded Dunmer history. But ya, the problem is that the cone has lava. There is some important *** in that cone that would be destroyed.0 -
