@ZOS - who do we talk to about your moderators?

I just received a rather alarming and rude comment from a moderator who told me NOT to use the word "ignorant" - that it was an "insult". All the word "ignorant" means is "lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular." I used the word in the proper context as well.

If ZOS feels their moderators are doing a good job by censoring the English lanuage, they certainly are acting more like facists.

Who should I address this issue to? Perhaps I should stop by their office building in Austin, Texas to see if I can chat with someone about these folks.

Right context is all good.. I would assume you got you warning for using the word offensively, which is not okay.. Another note is that you would be hell of a lot smarter if you contacted support instead od using the general chat.. right now it just seems like you want to raise attention about it

Of course I want to raise attention to it. I enjoy these forums as this is my favorite game which I play, but I don't feel that I should be talked down to by using "words"...which were correct for the situation. I did not insult the person in the least, which was the body of the message from the moderator. Perhaps if it was less hammer and more pillow, I wouldn't be reacting like this - give a kind warning. Not a "don't do it" right off the bat. Heck, just remove my message (which they did) and go on with life. I wouldn't give a fig if they did that.

Just seems like the moderators were being heavy handed.

You can use the word ignorant in a completely proper manner and these days people will still think you're insulting them. Why? Because they're ignorant.

Maybe you should have used language they properly understand and called them a stupid head or something similar.

You could also try writing a message to one of the community managers about it, or tagging them with their @ name.
