    Hey @ZOS_BrianWheeler , unfortunately it is not consistently within the mages guild, although I'll admit I've only been in there a handful of times thus far.     The only weird thing is that it happens only when playing TESO so far. I have not experienced this issue while alt tabbing on other games such as MGSV, DayZ, HOMM7 beta or Dota2.

    We are planning on introducing a Campaign or two that have Gated Imperial City access and we are looking into other things to add into Cyrodiil for pulling people back into the warzone.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler Thanks for the info!

    Consider the situation where two campaigns have gated access to IC and two don't. Players who want to farm loot will simply guest the open access campaigns and home the gated ones. I know I will. Saturday mornings I will simply go to the guest campaign and farm some stones before everyone wakes up, then head over to the full campaign for PvP.

    Also: really, really excited about these "other things to add to Cyrodiil"! What are they? Can has?! Make more! Players have offered many suggestions:
    1. New, controllable buff locations like Ayleid wells.
    2. More outposts, for example a new controllable location between each of the keep triangles.
    3. Controllable flags in each of the towns (Bruma, Chey, etc) which can be fought over. When controlled, these towns offer various things (resources to harvest, point for score, spawn locations, etc). The best fights in Cyrodiil are the random ones between players in these towns.
    4. Worthwhile loot drops in the delves (seriously, anything is better than what is there now). The delves are really cool locations! I want an excuse to go there more often!
    5. Forward camps, fixed.
    6. I could go all day.

    EDIT: an added benefit of more, distributed objectives may be to reduce group size and therefore reduce lag.

    Siege damage stayed the same relative to all the other damage in pro. Only problem is that all had a 30% damage Nerf. So while not totally useless it's pretty rough trying to defend keeps when you're outnumbered by barrier spammers.

    V16 gear??? Uh, I don't think so since there isn't a lot of it out there yet. Xylena threw out a number like 5k damage from a fire ballista which is the old situation where people will stand in the red rings and laugh at you. I don't want to necro that old thread and revisit all the issues so I would appreciate it if you guys would look at the actual numbers and percentages to insure that siege engines are dangerous weapons and not pea shooters.

    Having some campaigns gated, and some ungated does not work.

    Every player will have either their home or guest campaign set to ungated access. Possibly both. This is not a choice, only the illusion of one.

    IC is far more rewarding, and frankly new content than Cyrodiil. Cyrodiil is (and I hate this word) suboptimal. You can't go around expecting players to willingly, with full knowledge, make suboptimal choices in a MMO. Maybe picking a red-headed stepchild of a class is one thing, but pvp campaigns require a certain critical mass of players to create enough interactions to be enjoyable and maintain a playerbase. A gated campaign is always going to fail in this regard (vs an ungated campaign). A side effect of this is that the ungated campaigns will have massive queues assuming overall population remains constant.

    Gating all of the campaigns is the only way to return action to Cyrodiil on a consistent basis. Unfortunately, the cat is out the bag now. The mistake has already been made, and I don't know if there is any going back.

    Ehm... So you plan to have campaigns with gated access and campaigns without? Will this work?

    I mean if we have these situation i will set my home campaign to gated access campaign and my guest campaign to open access. If i want to farm equip i go into the open access campaign. So why should i go into IC on a gated access campaign?

    This feels strange. I think the best is all gated or nothing gated.

    I suspect a lot of players will do this and they might succeed. However, already one gated campaign would open up the option for PvP and PvE guilds to team up in order to maintain dominance over the city. I.e. the PvP guild denies the access for other factions and takes care of trouble inside the city in turn for a beneficial trade or some sort of "tax".

    Gear does not mitigate siege damage, correct?

    Nothing is fixed,I n order to get things normal I have to delete the shader file over and over and over.we get 3/4 through the dungeon or pledge and everything is jacked.fix your game
