OK. If you are one of the complainers, here's why you are being ridiculous:

If you are complaining because you feel the the ability to play as any race in any alliance should be exclusive to pre-order people, you are simply wrong. This feature is something that should have NEVER been restricted in ANY way, in any ES game. Please, accept this and realize that by feeling this way, you are only imposing an unfair restriction on all new players of the game just so you can feel "special". That's nothing but a super-mega selfish attitude right there.

If you are complaining because the entire pack is available, realize that you are wrong again, and that the pack is actually different, in something other than just its name. The included pet is different. Your pre-order bonus is STILL exclusive, as you have a pet that no one else can ever get. Have that little guy follow you around, and everyone will know you are one of the super-elite pre-order folks!

If you are complaining because you feel ZOS "tricked" you or "lied" to you, or "broke their promise", well... you may have some very weak semblance of a point in there, but really? You are going to flip out over this? THE WHOLE FREAKIN FREE TO PLAY DEBACLE was an infinitely bigger kick in the nether area to subscribers of the game, when ZOS had been saying since Day 1 that it would never happen. You should have lost all faith in the validity of ZOS's statements the day Tamriel Unlimited was announced. If you are actually upset about this (Adventurer's Pack), then it's completely your own fault at this point. You know the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Not complaining because I was "fooled". I said many times that exactly this would happen despite ZOS saying otherwise.

Simply pointing out the fact that it's the latest in a very long string of statements that were entirely misleading to their player base. Par for the course, more or less. It's getting to a ridiculous point now.

I'm guessing that you feel that nobody should ever even say anything about it when a company is clearly acting shady? Just accept it and move on. That's fine if you feel that way, but I personally don't.

2. You buy that line, yet mock people for being suckers? Slow clap for you.
3. Point out to me any point where anyone said that they trusted ZOS before this. I don't think anyone would argue before this that their name wasn't already kinda muddy, but that does not stop me objecting to the way this was handled.

The quote that's been cited multiple times that the Explorer's Pack wouldn't be on the Crown Store is one thing, but the fact that they not only try the insulting trick of swapping nothing but the pet and pretending it's okay (I would say 'how stupid do they think we are?', but you and others have clearly bought it), and not only do they not tell us a word about their plans, even when B2P was announced, but they actively hid it by not including it on the PTS release, and only adding it on live.

THIS is my issue. That whether we bought it or not, they've been playing us all for fools. Had they come right out and been honest about it when TU was announced, something to the effect of "really sorry folks, we couldn't have anticipated this at launch, but here's what we're going to do", I'd have far less of an issue with this.

The exclusivity left when you could still cash in the codes after launch...well after launch.

I prefer non exculsive to exculsive there should be rewards for like things, just make it cost more for others

Not quite accurate. The loyalty rewards remain unique in colour. Other versions of the same animals are what the store is offering.

So you buy it and then the next character you create can be in any alliance, but if you want another one you have to buy it again?

That seems to me like it would be a good (although expensive) compromise because it would allow everyone to make characters of any race in any alliance but people with the explorers pack would still have a big advantage.

Pretty much this.

I have the Imperial edition but don't have an Imperial and the only reason I'm likely to make them is to craft their racial style without buying motifs.

But I love the ability to choose race and alliance separately, that makes a much bigger difference IMO than being able to play an Imperial in any alliance. Especially since my main is a khajiit and my favourite alliance is DC.

I think it should be greyed out as unlocked if you already have everything except for the guar pet, not showing as purchasable for 1900 crowns as it would be a complete waste of crowns and pointless for people who have the pre order any race any alliance and maps already....

The guar pet is in the pet area of crown store already.

Maybe someone would want to buy it solely for a fresh set of treasure maps?

Yes, there will be messaging to let everyone know that an item will be limited-time or retired.

I'm nearly certain they'll eventually add Crown Shards that award one skill point to any skill line level 20 or under, and a Crown Crystal for one skill point on 30+.

Leaving that one gap in the 20's to discover yourself.

Will there be a certain week day where the store will be updated or will it happen on a completely unregular basis? Will we have to start the game to see what is new or will there be a show case article like the current one on the website for all new store updates?
