Paying ahead with a credit card

@ZOS_GaryA‌

I'm going to be about 30 or 60 days short of the 300 days required to get the mount. Can I pay ahead those days with a credit card from my account page, or will I have to find game time cards for sale somewhere?

    Hey there @dharbert,

The billing options on the subscription page are related to recurring payments, so you don't have the option to advance pay. There are a few things you can do to reach the eligibility requirement in this case:

If you're on a 30 day recurring subscription, you can swap to a higher duration plan such as 90 days if that would push you over the 300 days.

And yes, you may also use game time cards to supplement additional time!

@ZOS_GaryA does this apply to someone with a sub. that'll still run beyond March 17, can a time card be added NOW that'll bump the total days paid over 300?

I ask because the account system doesn't make it clear if you can add a time card in this way.

In fact the account system doesn't seem to allow this at all, clicking Manage Subscription and click
    Manage Subscription

    Select Subscription
    Billing Address

    Elder Scrolls Online

    Member Since January 29, 2014

    Account Status

    Active - Recurring
    Select Subscription

Please choose a subscription or game time code below
    Change your recurring subscription†
    Cancel Subscription
    £8.99GBP/mo - 30 Day Subscription - Charge me £8.99GBP every 30 days
    £7.99GBP/mo - 90 Day Subscription - Charge me £23.97GBP every 90 days

Choose your subscription plan or enter a game time code to proceed.

†All subscriptions are recurring except for purchases using iDeal, WebMoney, PaySafeCard, and Giropay. You may return to "Manage Subscriptions" at any time to change your subscription settings
there's no provision to enter a time code here.

Seems to me someone with a subscription that'll go beyond March 17 can do NOTHING to pre-buy the extra time, which I'm pretty sure is what @dharbert

    Please clarify.

    [edit]

OR maybe you can .. clicking REDEEM CODE on the Account Summary pops up a dialog which mentions entering a Time Card after a game registration code, so is it right to assume it would also work with an active recurring subscription and would add 60 to the number of days shown on the Account Summary (which in my case is 54) thus taking the total paid since the beginning over 300?

I presume it would, but confirmation would be helpful. :)

@fromtesonlineb16_ESO‌ You should read other threads as it has been discussed.

I added cards and it indeed added that to my billing history showing them as already paid.

so I have had two 6 months subs with a couple of months breaks between, that means I get the 300 days reward?

@Artemiisia‌ If you paid for two 6 months already, you should be good to go. you just need to have paid for at least 300 days before they launch Tamriel Unlimited next month.

    2x6=12

A month in ESO terms is actually 30 days regardless of actual month length so 300 days equals 10 x 30

    12 x 30 = 360.

    Hey there!

If you add a time card, it will immediately add 60 days to your "paid time" total. So let's say, for example:

You've been using the 90 day subscription, and it renews on March 18th. You're currently at 210 days, but on March 18th you'll be at 300. You would not receive the Senche as you were not at 300 paid days prior to the cutoff date of March 16th.

That said, if you add two 60 day game time cards prior to March 16th (120 days), you'll be pushed to 330 days and you will receive the Senche.

It's early, numbers are difficult, so please let us know if this helps. If not, we'll be happy to help in another way!
