Game Consultant doesn't update

I checked Game Consultant for updates. It gives me a prompt that there is an update available, but after clicking OK it doesn't do anything.

See screenshot for prompt after click on "Check for updates".

    Hey there @Jimboo84,

    When you run the Game Consultant, what is the version number that shows at the bottom of the report.txt file?

    GameConsultant 1.4 is the current version, built October 2014
    ESO Launcher version is in attachment

    Looks like you're all up to date! We'll be sure to forward this feedback along to see why that message is appearing for you. Currently 1.4 is the most up to date version of the game consultant

    Even if it is actually up to date, by now it shouldn't be. I can't even run the tests - the consultant crashes and closes itself with no option to report the error.

    oh and 3 months after this thread was made. there is still the issue that it says an update is available but does nothing...

    After months this issue is still existing. Same printscreens and comments as before are applicable.

    bump, same issue here. Game consultant immediately crashes upon running tests. This is getting pretty annoying because I need the game consultant to work so that I can provide the right information to the support team which is helping me solve issues with the game.

    Even after a fresh download and install of the ZOS_Launcher, now v1.3.6.113

    Even after a fresh download and install of the ZOS_Launcher, now v1.3.6.1133142, Game Consultant version is 1.1. I get the same Game Consultant Update available and the GC update button does not download the newer 1.4 version.

    A Knowledge Base search uncovered a link to download or run GC online. However, when I downloaded a fresh copy of GC from that link, it still reports v1.1. How can I update Game Consultant or where can I download GC v1.4?

    O hai, I have the same problem..game consultant not updating or doing anything useful in particular.
    Playing on PC/NA---UserID=Threemoons--usually on nights, weekends

    Yeah, Game Consultant 1.4, update button says there is a newer version but doesn't do anything.
    Still the same issue.
