    Not to be overly critical, but most people would come up with a rehash of existing names.

    Or a randomly silly name.

    I doubt that we would come up with anything they can't.
    People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

    I dont really see why to waste time doing this , then again , if enough people want it , but they should have rules to fit the name in the lore and so on.

    We ran an NPC naming contest previously, and you can see the results here. Maybe you've even met Malkur Valos while exploring Coldharbour!

    It's possible we'll revisit a contest idea, but we haven't announced any future plans for an NPC naming contest. At the moment we are running Tales of the Dead, a contest where you write something inspired by a grisly in-game screenshot. Entries can be posted in this thread.
