Sony Vaio with AMD Radeon HD 7650M and Intel i7 processor

I had no problems at all with a high level of graphics going, until recently. Now when I play, after 5 to 10 minutes the game doesn't respond anymore. Can't open a container but can still run around and nothing reacts.
I reduced graphics to the lowest settings, but that didn't help. Won't even let me log out.
When I bring up task manager to force the program to close, it shows that it is now using about 900 meg of memory. What a shame everything worked fine until whatever code was added recently. :-( .

Clear the junk out of your programs folder and do a full virus scan. Also, AMD is a generic brand. Should have gone with Nvidia. The i7 is an awesome processor though so that couldn't be the issue.

There is absolutely no viruses, or malware, etc. This just started happening in the last week or so. System performed great, and now it performs only for a brief period.

Well, I did try an add on for the first time. The one that shows you where the Skyshards are.
I disabled that and the game freezing up in 5 to 10 minutes stopped.
I can still use the add on by loading it and taking a peak at the map, then logging out and disabling the add on again.

If you can move around the game but cant open containers or interact with anything that isn't graphics related, its a connection issue.

Use a network monitor to see how much inbound and outbound traffic is happening when you experience this. You should see it drop suggesting a connection problem. Another good way to test is to connect from a different internet location such as a friends or free wifi hotspot and see what happens.

Try disabling all addons and/or deleting your Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\ShaderCache.cooked file.

It could be a connection problem. Try to update your network drivers. The drivers included in Windows are very old.

This is true i did not think of that . his memory usage would indicate he is suffering from a mem leak to . try a client repair as well and close that launcher.

I would think the game client using 900mb of RAM would be low. Am I wrong?
