Overwolf and DirectX11 (9)

Hey,
So I want to use Overwolf with TESO but apparently Overwolf only supports TESO running with Directx9
I probably don't want to do this, but how do I switch TESO to run in Directx9 mode? I can't do it in the game Settings menu as such a option is unavailable. I read something about editing the Settings through UserSettings.txt, but I don't know which line will affect the DirectX.
If any of you know of a solution to running Overwolf with TESO Directx11, do tell. OR. If there is an alternative software that can overlay ingame Skype chat window, I am interested in that too.
