What is it with Worms...

I know that are used for fishing and food... but you only find them with Alchemy and Light Armor resource points...
I am also not saying anything about the drop rate, no nerfs or buffs, just a thought...
If you ever spent time camping and looking for wood, almost every log you turn over has Worms and Bugs (and some snakes and small rodents) under them, but do we find worms under that maple branch?
If you dig at a rock up, look what you find... WORMS...
Now I don't fish, and I don't eat worms of Maggots, but it seems to me that more then light armor and Alchemy nodes would have worms. (OK, if I get a Purple Recipe for Worm Stew or something, perhaps I will choke it down...)

Dead bodies should have crawlers and worms, but so should Logs and Rocks (Wood and Ore)...Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most...0 -
Mablung✭✭✭✭✭They want you fishing. I forget what patch they had implemented all of the HUGE fishing upgrades/fixes. I was pretty stoked.

✭✭Well, worms are usually found near ROTTEN wood, so if the wood is usable, then there should be no worms.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

nudel✭✭✭✭✭Worms can be found from zombies as well and that is a far better source of them. However, they can only be looted from these zombies until you are 6 levels higher than them. I really hope this is changed at some point so that worms behave more like medium armor scraps, which drop regardless of level difference.
At present, worms are the only common bait of the four which can become hard to find. And the only reason they become hard to find is b/c their only farmable sources can be outleveled easily. Guts can be found from any small critters regardless of level. Crawlers can be found from any small insects regardless of level. Insects can be plucked from harvestable flying insects regardless of level. Crawlers do drop on these same zombies. However, they don't need to because you can find them easily wherever small insects can be found. Worms and Crawlers can be found in plant nodes, but the drop rate is pretty abysmal.
Either make the zombies always drop Worms/ Crawlers regardless of level difference...
OR
Put some small non-aggressive worms in the world which can be collected the same as the other 3 common baits.1
