Changing factions

Are there any future plans to allow people to change faction. I started my main in AD but then found a good guild that was mostly DC. Now I can't join them on my main. I'd be happy to pay to change faction.

    That would require a race change as well (excluding the pre-order features). You might as well start a new character.

    Um, read up on the Cadwell missions, it's after you finish but they do let you do the other factions, well more force you but never mind.

    You can't group with other factions.

    Actually, I think this would be great, if implemented. (and I would happily pay for this service as well!)

    My main and my guild are DC, but I got sick of VR leveling, and wanted to see the other factions content on different classes & characters, so I rolled 2 alts, 1 faction each.

    I'd love to level them to 50, and then switch them over to DC where most of my friends & guildmates are.

    *crosses fingers and hopes this be implemented sometime in the future*

    Yeah, same. And I made pretty much this exact same post a few weeks ago. Never got any response :(.

    Zenimax have answered that changing alliance will not be possible.

    I have sent in a suggestion to be able to change alliance, you gonna need to go through a LONG and hard Quest line. Sometimes callled like "Betrayel" Or something.

    There is a good reason for not letting people change allliances, but I think it should be possible but very, very demanding. And maybe even some negative effect.

    I have friends who are in the wrong alliance that would love to change to ours. But easy changes WILL be abused in PVP.

    If it takes a long time. Long quest or something, then those who REALLY want to change to be with their friends....they will do it.

    Those who just wants to abuse it.....will not do it.

    BUT Zenimax have said no.

    You can create a new char though. But I MORE then understand that some players have 1 char and want to play only that. I am the same.

    Yeah I could do with switching over to the Dominion.. The Pact is doing terrible in Auriel's Bow

    Hah! I know nothing about Cyro at the time to choose, but didn't like the name "bow", so took Bloodthorn. Nice to have the pvp buff most of the time :D

    It would be totally awesome if, to change alliances, you had to perform a series of quests for your new alliance where you betray the old one. Otherwise, how would we know you are honestly severing your ties to the old one?

    What would be better is if this were a sandbox game and people's who changed alliances actually affected their alliance in some way, permanently altering the the ESO world.
