Are the VR10+ Blue Armors intended? Power Rangers much?
Topic. At vr8, I was pretty happy with my armor post patch (epic quality was brown and black but looked pretty nice) I hit vr10 and crafted another set of armor and it's bright and shiny power ranger's blue and looks coated in tin foil?
Really hoping this wasn't intentional. I'm getting sick of hiding under costumes.

✭My VR3 armor went bright colors and pretty blue.
Wouldn't be bad, but I damn sure don't want to wear bright colors and pretty blue on my nightblade. And considering they matched the color schemes properly so that you can piece different sets of armor together from the same level and it doesn't look odd ... well, now all other VR3 armor is pretty blue.

XBOX NARuze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.0 -
I didn't get a screenshot of how this outfit looked at vr8, but it was almost black in color and the textures seemed correct for the material. It's bosmer medium chest/glove and light bosmer shoulder, imperial boot/pants and breton hat/dunmer belt.
At vr10, the imperial pants/boots lightened up and lost their textures (they used to be nearly black at vr8, same quality)
The helmet used to be mostly black with magenta highlights at vr8, now it's the same color/shiny texture you see in the bosmer chest & glove in this screenshot.
I created various items at vr10 and upgraded those to green quality and as you can see even the shield is foiled with this really weird blue color.
*Only the image on the far right in the 2nd screenshot is epic quality. The rest are green quality. Based on what I can tell, the higher the quality the closer I'm coming to evoking a power ranger combo.0 -
Anrik✭✭I just crafted some VR5 daedric armor. It's bright blue and white, just screams power ranger. Pretty confused since it's daedric style, not hello kitty island adventure style.0 -

I actually like all but the second one, the colour there is just boring, oh well dyes are coming.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

Which there is nothing really wrong with, I think. It's totally up to personal taste. But past MMOs with dyeing systems have shown that most actually do a good job when it comes to dyeing: You don't see many horribly out-of-place colour-schemes.If you can be anything, be kind.0 -

I am not sure that the armor is not actually black like in the Character creation but the lighting is messed up in game.If you put inner light on the effect becomes stronger.Like I said, power ranger.
I don't mind the really dark navy but I hate that I have gold everywhere. To much bling.

✭✭✭✭✭Yes, everything made with the voidstone, voidcloth, etc. level crafting mats is mostly blue/gold when upgraded. Looks horrible IMO. I went from liking my armor sets pre-Craglorn to scrapping them all and wearing stuff that doesn't make me want to puke when looking at it all day. Dyes can't get here soon enough.-- @xaraan --
