✭✭✭You are not going to get anyone from ZOS to answer.
So there are two parts to this battle.
1. Septima alone.dual wield Shadowy attack +surprise attacks+2 normal attacks combo to siphon magicka back . When I did her at vr5. She was more or less stun locked all the time.Cheap but effective
2. The ghost skeletons from hell. Sword and board -sap essence , volcanic rune, swallow soul. siphoning attacks.Veil Of blades
Many people say Bow and VR work well also.I havent tried.

sajackson✭✭✭All of the hard bosses I've encountered in the quest play have allowed grouping and I've certainly done that a few times.
People moan that they can't solo some bosses, it's possible that Zenis intention was that bosses like Septima should be done by groups although if thats really the case they should make it clearer in the quest description and also sort out the phasing issues.
But all that being said, you'll probably find you can breeze past this if you group with another 1 or 2 people.0 -

Lyall84✭✭✭✭Night Blade here...I completed using sword and board, shadowy disguise, concealed weapons, 1 or 2 quick hits, heavy hit to knock down, then 1 or 2 more quick hits and repeat. Bash as required for the solo part. Then I ran to the side of the the platform, so the undead would bunch up nice. Power Extraction until Flawless Dawnbreaker was up, that Ultimate alone can do 50 to 75 percent of the health of all the ghost soldiers. So after using extraction a few times before and once or twice after they would be dead.
I might have had great sword as off weapon with the power extraction so I could alternate extraction and carve (3 ultimate per target) so between the two, dawnbreaker would charge super quick.Edited by Lyall84 on June 14, 2014 2:47AM0
