FPS and Graphics of the game overall!

I can't get over how nice the graphics are for the game! I was impressed with the Beta and it seems to be getting a little better all the time! I do have a question though. I have a Gigabyte GeForce 650ti GPU with 2GB VRAM and just DL the MSI Afterburner program to OC it. What are other people running right now for their FPS, Temp and Vram? I'm getting a consistent 99-1014 FPS and pushing between 30 and 40 degrees C. I'm also getting 2045MB for my RAM. I'm not big into GPU's and this is the first nice one I've had, are those decent specs? I didn't do much at all for OC yet, I wanted to see what it was doing right now and what should I adjust my Core and Memory clocks to? Right now they're at +272 each and my fan is on auto. My Voltage is at+0. It also says that the max for my Frame rate is 100? Is there a way to up that to see what I can push?

Everything on Ultra, I get between 30-60fps with ASUS GTX 660s in SLI and an FX-6300 (stock speed).

I feel like there's no way I should be going down to the 30's with my GPUs, so it looks like some CPU overclocking is in order. The game is definitely CPU dependent.

The game is gorgeous maxed out though.

The FX-6300 should more than handle it and feed your dual 660s. At 1080p, one 660 on my secondary machine is getting 30-50fps on ultra settings (view distance at stock) with an FX-6100 with a mild 200mhz OC on it. The FX-6300 shouldn't even need that. Make sure you have FULLSCREEN selected, you may also have to set somthing up in the nvidia control panel.

My primary runs dual 290Xs with three monitors on a 4770k and occasionally the game likes to default back to Windowed Fullscreen, then I only get 29-55fps. Normally just changing the settings back to Fullscreen works, other times I have to reset the computer. Also with both SLI and Crossfire the scaling on this game isn't the best, hopefully Nvidia and AMD get some better optimised drivers out for it sooner rather than later and ZOS further optimises their code for SLI and Crossfire. Anyways, have something like Afterburner running in the background (if you don't already) to A) Make sure you are actually running SLI and

Check your usage after gameplay. If your cards keep dropping off or one only runs at 27% send in the log and your specs to Nvidia, they love gaming logs to help the tweak drivers.

edit: As for OPs question, with both cards running and my triple screen 5760x1080 resolution I generally run at around 120-130fps in dungeons, 68-80fps in the outlying areas and 50-60fps in town and as low as 40-50fps in Cyrodiil, all settings cranked view distance on full. This game is so unoptimised right now and doesn't scale well on multi core or multi card systems, the former be a problem with the Hero Engine which needs to be addressed by the makers of that engine, and the latter needs to be address by ZOS and Nvidia/AMD.

I am running an AMD Radeon HD 7870 everything on Ultra with SweetFx. I go anywhere from 25-100. It makes no sense.

The human eye generally cannot detect differences in anything over 60fps. Movies play in the neighborhood of 30 fps. If you're trying to push over 100fps, at his point it would just be to /flex and /beholdmyawesomegraphicsspecs

Your setup seems fine. Beware OC'ing. You shorten the life of the product when generally it isn't needed. In this day and age, oc'ing is just to show how big of a nerd you are. It's not longer very practical like it was a decade ago. Today's high end stock GPU's generally handle maximum settings very well allowing smoothe gameplay without overtaxing the card.

This game (like all mmos) are very cpu bottlenecked.

OP You will probably see no difference in framrates by OCing your GPU. Your CPU on the other hand will benefit from OC'ing

Actually I can notice a difference between 30-60 but anything above 60 I don't notice. I would rather mine get to 60 and stay there. But for some reason it does jump up to 100.

System is a little dated but still zips along well above 60 fps refresh of Dell 24" Ultrasharp monitor. Fluctuates during game play from 60-100 fps and I have all settings at High or Ultra and play in full screen mode with 11 add-ons running.

The game is indeed beautiful and relatively forgiving on system demand.

fps will spike and dip, for a myriad of reasons in an mmo, but accessing data from the drive is a big one, as mmo's can only front-load so much data into memory, and then have to access data on the fly from drive as needed, unlike a single player game that front-load almost everything needed into memory.

really large dips "might" be caused by this, so running an mmo on an ssd, or using Intel SRT ssd caching is a smart move.

I have the same gcard as you, overclocked manually. 6gb ram and quad 2.5cpu. My fps is 100 if im just running around solo. However, any group orpvp play it drops 18 to 25, and As low as 10

While it is true most people cannot see any real difference higher than 60fps, there is a certain fluidity that cannot be denied. Further if you're running a 75hz or 120hz monitor anything under can cause screen tearing... so the increased frames are needed.

OP: I wouldn't be overclocking a graphics card too much, there you get very minimal gain on something that is normally already pushed quite high. However, OCing the CPU isn't the dirty beast some make it out to be, and can provide some HUGE increases. With proper cooling the system will be just fine, the problem is you get guys trying to run 1.45v on an aircooled Haswell and wonder why they keep shutting down and having to replace the CPU in a year. Look at the current Haswell refresh by Intel, the 4790k is running at higher voltages and clocks over the 4770k and is nothing more than a stock overclocked 4770 with better TIM. Same with AMD's FX-9590, same revision as the 8350, just a tighter/higher binned chip with 1.5V and 5.0Ghz on the clock. Again, proper cooling for the situation and you're fine.

I'd like to know what CPU you're running with those frames on a 650 though. (and what in game settings)

I'm running an Intel i5 3570k @3.4GHz right now. I was running it at 4GHz but tuned it down to see what the differenct would be and there hasn't been one yet that I've found.

More than likely won't be much. Though you're not noticing anything bad from it, the graphics card would hold you back in this case. Your CPU is more than likely feeding it more than enough to keep it happy so cranking the clock speed on the CPU is going to net you little to no gain. For me, going from stock to 4.6Ghz with dual 290X I see a large change just because those cards like the 780ti are generally starved by single threaded programs like ESO, so cranking up the clocks helps. In games like Battlefield the hyperthreading helps and changing my clock only nets a few frames difference.

You're getting some pretty killer frames for that set up, really. I would suggest turning on VSYNC and locking it at 60fps, I've noticed less dips with VSYNC enabled, though I've done mine through Catalyst and locked it at 75Hz/fps. At least until the engine is optimised more.

I have an FX-6350 OC'd and a R9 270x. I've got everything on ultra. I dip into the mid 40 FPS-wise in the cities and in pvp sometimes, but it generally stays above 60 (using a 120hz main monitor).

Unfortunately I have to play in windowed fullscreen, as I have two monitors, and if you set it to fullscreen, your second monitor is not usable, it's just black.

This game is definitely one of the better looking MMO's.

Idk FPS is really weird in this game. I get the same FPS on everything on low as I would having everything set to ultra. I just don't understand how that's possible.

At least in Cyro, I will get 20-40 fps, on all low even after running it on the smallest resolution running in a window. It doesn't change if I set turn the settings up either.

I stepped up for ESO. I have it on a 30" 2560x1600 IPS display with the pixels herded by a GTX 780. All maxxed at about 45 - 55 FPS.

It's very nice.

Anywhere between 30-100+ running with a GTX 770 everything maxed out. Game is very purdy

Solo questing, in WVW with server lag when there was HUGE fights it would drop to 8 or freeze but that's server lag so....

looked great but the only program that would open it is 7zip and the links they provide for the DL contain trojans. Sucks too because it did look promising unless you know of a legit site to get it from.
