@Crisscross Perhaps. Although, I don't find it to have as many issues as players allege. Maybe I'm just lucky enough to not have encountered as many, but I've got no complaints at the moment.

The game never went anywhere. As is always the case, the perceived doom & gloom of the Forums is not completely translated in the game. There have been numerous improvements already, & I'm confident they will continue. I think it's hilarious to read on these Forums how this game is "dead", then log in to the game & can't even test a build against a mob without somebody randomly coming along and joining in the fight. I sat in one solo dungeon last night for a while to get a rough count & unique players were pouring in at a rate of 1-2 people per minute.

I don't think the game was ever so bad to warrant the term "comeback".

It wasn't perfect at launch and some things needed fixing, which is to be expected.

The game isn't making a "comeback" cause it never "fell" in the 1st place.

If you think it did then NO its not making a "comeback"

The pole is flawed, it insists the game was bad to being with when it never was.

no, I think unless they allow inter racial grouping for dungeons. this game will not last much longer. wait times for a healer are ridiculous, unless you are on a server that is low on tanks, but that is when I was a healer, and that is how it seemed. Had no problem grouping with the healer, unfortunately if you roll any other toon that waits are ridiculous.

I do not want this game to fail, and I enjoy a lot of things about it. if you are having problems with the end game and its usually the case with mmo rpgs, it is always a good distraction rolling new charchters. I hope they read this and open up interacial grouping, it will make grouping a fun part of the game again. without it the game will certanly fail, I have not been able to turn on this game and play it, since my last few experiences tring to find a group. running single player quests and grinding is not enough for me.

Devs in ESO are either totally out of touch with it's player base or more than likely just don't care at all. All sights set on console release!

I highly suggest comparing other MMO dev trackers to the one here in ESO; I think you are in for a bit of a shock just how different it can be with player to dev interaction.

You did a very bad job with the pool. This game doesn't need the term "Comeback" as it was never bad at all.

Hell all 4 options are including that the game is broken/needs a lot of fixes etc. I have to say that the game is currently far from perfect, but it's still much closer to perfection than any other MMOs right now (I mean come on, why would I even bother playing ESO if there are any better incentives).

IF, and that's a big IF, they make AvA more fun and meaningfull, the game will make a come back. Also, they should add a smaller version of Cryodill for players 50 and under that provides enough XP to allow players to level up through PvP. That is about the only way I will start an alt (done with questing).

Without players wanting to play alts, the subs will continue to drop.

No, the number of issues this game has at its current state indicates it is still struggling and losing the battle
"No, the game mechanics cannot be overcome to redeem this game."

Rage quitter QQ option. Game mechanics are not the problem in my opinion although the combat mechanics (tanking, healing, dps) really could be spruced up....ie target of target for dps, focus target for heals versus healing some 100% npc in the far corner when trying to heal the tank or dps that's in the hurt locker. You know basic mmo game play options.

"No, the number of issues this game has at its current state indicates it is still struggling and losing the battle"

Rage quitter QQ option again. Tons of issues in game which are being exploited on a daily basis but I'm indifferent to most of them since I don't have to deal with a majority of these anymore and have pretty much lost the will to /bugreport.

"Yes, the DEV are quick to address issues when compared to other MMOs. This gives me confidence that the game is on the up and up."

Ostrich/fanboy option here. Not really sure if serious or not here but to say they are quick to address issues is grossly incorrect.

"Yes, I feel the population is strong and many users will sub/return in the coming months as more fixes/content is released."

The eternal optimist/fanboy option. The "Boomerang" effect is strong in free to play models but normally and in most cases not strong enough to bring people back if they choose the first 2 options especially for a pay to play model.

    "Other remarks."

For people who don't think that the game has flopped/is flopping and therefore think this poll is a sham.

Just my 2 pennies about said poll and the options provided.

I hadn't realized the game was going down hill. As with most new MMOs there will be a surge of players in beta and release, then the ones who don't want to be here are weeded out.

The ones who want an easy (fast) path in ESO will whine and cry and then leave. The ones who rush to end game without giving the lore a second thought... will leave. Crying mechanics, balance issues etc etc, the list is endless. As with ANY MMO.

Assuming that most have played ES titles, I can't believe so many didn't foresee exactly what an ES MMO would be; Buggy, clunky, but massive with lots of potential and Lore. Most of those who enjoy the SP ES titles will enjoy ESO. ESO grants that same style emmersion.

No, the number of issues this game has at its current state indicates it is still struggling and losing the battle
Lots of lacking basic grouping/guild/social features is the most dire issue in my opinion, simply because it is what fosters long term investment in the game. And the lack of communication from ZoS on it worries me.

The people who don't mind the current inability or lack of motivation to do basic things like meeting up in game as a Guild, quest with people and stay in the same phase, non-quest grind things to do, etc. are solo players. They don't mind because the game is actually pretty good as just a single player game.

It's succeeds at being a good TES game, but I'm still hoping for it to become a multi-player game. And if I'm honest I worry that it will take a lot of unsub's for them to feel the need to add content in that area or fix those issues. Myself and others have already left for this reason, waiting for it to be addressed before we can return. And now they are saying it might be 2 years before we get basic social mechanics like housing or being able to meet up as a Guild?

That doesn't work when so many competitors have those features from day one.

The day ZoS says: "Hey we added a Guild Hall instance, where you can meet up as a guild in game, and talk and trade and hang out with each other without phasing. It took us about 45 minutes to do, seeing as all the assets and coding is already there... sorry about that. Enjoy!"

Just out of curiosity (and these are honest questions/not trolling)....

    1. What zones are you seeing hordes of players in PvE? I'm willing to say that lowbie EP zones are semi full due to the folks who hit VR12 moved on to leveling alts since Craglorn is turning into a ghost town now that the Vet XP grinds have been nerf'd. I just haven't seen the numbers that you apparently are.
    2. What PvP campaign (other than Wabbajack) is locked with long queues? I can't recall multiple population locked campaigns since the 3rd week after launch. In fact most populations sit steadily at 1 bar each in every single campaign not starting with Wabba and ending with jack.

I honestly hope this game is a success but while it's not on life support this game is rather sickly in my opinion. As such, I'll play this game for as long as I enjoy it and then when I no longer feel the urge to log in....I won't.
