I'm wanting to upgrade to the imperial edition and was wondering if you can craft on any character or if you have to be an imperial to craft the imperial. I know you can morph armor into imperial but I like crafting more.

You can't craft any imperial on the upgrade.

You can right click on armor and weapons you own and turn them into imperial, but then they are bound to your account.

You can do this with any race you play.

Have to be imperial to do the morphing. You do not automatically gain the imperial motif on other chars either

Ok so no. It said on there that you can craft but guess you have to be imperial to do it.

Yes, if you play an imperial, for the crafting.

You can't craft any imperial on the upgrade with the other races.

You can do this with any race you play.

Any of your characters can change their gear to look like the Imperial style, with the exception of dropped set pieces. Also, once you change your gear to Imperial, it becomes soul bound and you cannot sell or trade it to another player.

Imperial to craft (unless you find/buy the motif)
Any race can morph armor to Imperial if you have the Imperial edition.
Worstluck - Breton Nightblade "Some of us refused to bow. We knew the old ways would lead us back to having a kingdom of our own."
    ―Madanach
Elfluck - Dunmer Dragonknight "When I will walk the earth again, the Faithful among you shall receive your reward: to be set above all other mortals forever. As for the rest: the weak shall be winnowed: the timid shall be cast down: the mighty shall tremble at my feet and pray for pardon."
    ―Mehrunes Dagon
Deadluck -Imperial Templar "Men are but flesh and blood. They know their doom, but not the hour"
    ―Uriel Septim

A character with the Imperial race can craft in the Imperial style (as any race can make their own style) or convert items to the Imperial style.

Any character you make can convert items to the Imperial style IF you have the Imperial edition.

Any character can learn the Imperial style, whether or not you have the Imperial Edition, if you can find the Imperial Motif.
