Anyone else find it strange to be away from your own faction for so long?

Shouldn't there at least be a small VR zone at the end of Cadwell's Almanac that is your own faction? A place to hang out with a bank and crafting stations and vendors that sell VR10-12 items? I mean it just seems so strange that once you enter Coldharbor, that's it. No more home faction. Ever. Not unless you want to hang out in a lvl 45 zone that don't even have vendors that cater to your level.

I am starting the 2cnd VR phase right now. I am a DC character being forced to kill DC soldiers. It just feels wrong. Would be nice at the end of the Almanac if we at least got to go home. Welcome back to your home faction hero. But there is none of that if I understand correctly. You still need to hang out in the enemy alliance at the end of your journey unless you want to be around a bunch of lvl 45 content.

It just seems disheartening and void of a sense of purpose. I mean why even choose a faction to begin with?

So, you can be separated from your friends if they happen to pick a different alliance than you.

thats why I skipped bleak rock and only take main quests from EP. Just hold your nose and click through it.

That is basically what most of us are doing. But I'm suggesting that it should all end in a VR zone of your own faction. Even if it's just a small one.

I like the idea of a "what if" reality, but I constantly go back to Daggerfall just to hang out and be around my own faction.

Before I got to VR I thought that I would be stuck in the other faction's zones and unable to go back to my home territory, I was so relieved to find that wasn't the case.

Yes it was immersion breaking for me. I choose Daggerfall Covenant for a reason. The other factions stories are good, don't get me wrong, but I really wanted to experience them with alts, but I lost the drive to do so.

What they should have done was get rid of Cadwell and his crappy rewards, have you report to a Daggerfall Covenant spymaster, alter a few the quests for veteran players, and have you spying, infiltrating and disrupting the enemy, then reporting your findings to the spymaster. But hey, that requires more thought than simply copying and pasting and scaling the mob hp and damage and calling it content.

That would have been much better. At least you wouldn't feel so detatched. Then have a nice little area at the end with VR shops, a bank, and crafting area. Some place the Vets could do their business in w/o having to go back to enemy territory just to buy potions or a Glyph.

Definitely. It also would have tied into the war. They could have even had optional quests given by the spymaster to enter Cyrodiil and do scouting or whatever.

You actually never left since the events of the other factions are the ones that lead up to them being at the meeting to form the invasion of Colharbor.

you should choose the faction that will have the faction you want to be a part of last in line with veteran ranks if you are a pve player.

I jest - but pvping really brings back some of the lost faction pride.

I'm doing them all anyway. Not a problem for me.
