Strange message on ESO home page.

So here I am reading various thread on the ESO forums. Up at the top I have links to other ESO related pages, one of which is HOME. After clicking that I am directed to the ESO home page and then get a very interesting message. It reads as follows:
“You are leaving the ZeniMax Media family of websites…
Please be aware that you are now entering a website that is beyond the control of ZeniMax Online Studios. This site is not affiliated with ZeniMax Online Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios is not responsible for any of the content on, or the privacy policy of, this site…”
All I did was click the link provided on the forums site to the ESO home page. Nothing else.

kirnmalidus✭✭✭✭Ditto. This type of interstitial message is pretty common when leaving websites (some industries, like financial services, have regulations requiring it).
One way to present the interstitial is with a javascript popup window inline on the current page. It looks like what is happening on the ESO site is the JS code for that popup got mucked up a bit which is causing the text of the dialog to display on the page itself.
