So, how much sense does that make? Sparks blinds melee, but not archers? Logical.

Aeradon✭✭✭✭✭Sparks is too OP if include range as well, man.
Range already has less damage when you're in their face to be able to cast Sparks, man.
If what logic is your concern, Sparks should be an AOE spell hitting all targets, but again it's too OP man.
"Target misses all melee attack" is just too crazy man.
If I'm range, you're in my face, you cast sparks, I won't change to melee! No way man!People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.
