As a business with my product failing, should I continue putting out accessories.

So If I produce and release a car that doesn't deliver experience or satisfaction but it cost the consumers a small fortune. should I continue investing in producing nd introducing accessories for this "car?"
The new class and arena tease are all accessories being used to bait people in or back in. The product still isn't stable, fixed or even functioning at a satisfactory standard. At what turn do you stop and fix the initial product before selling bumper stickers, fuzzy dice and pretty mirror lights for it?
For those that are satisfied with mediocre and substandard server stability. Broken abilities and quest, you are easily entertained and this topic does not affect you. Enjoy the shiny new lights on your broken car.

you do realize that fixes and new content are totally diff teams of devs. Its not just one dude doing it all. Content being released now has been in development for many months already, even before the players started asking for it. things take time to code and work out, budget and beta.

Mescalamba✭✭✭If they plan new class, then they need some pills to calm them down. This game is quite horribly unbalanced and they first need to balance classes and then THINK about adding more.
Plus I think adding some guild/world skills would do much better than adding whole class.Proud owner of personal vampire and werewolf army (4 werewolves/4 vampires)..

Small accessories and visual improvements are developed by entirely different teams. Many of the things we are seeing now have likely been in development (At least to a point) since well before the game launched.
Personally, i'm glad that they are continuing to add content. This is a sign they are still dedicated to further development. Whether these things are added now or later will not hasten the bug-fixing process.
Trying to make every single variable, timing component, module, calculation, and process fire perfectly, and without error WHILE accounting for server / client lag... for thousands of simultaneous players in hundreds of regions requires magnitudes more time and effort then...

To my knowledge there is no confirmation about whether these 'bard' abilities will be a class or just a new skill line. The smart money is on it being another guild like fighter/mage guilds.
Arena was not 'teased' either. ZOS has already confirmed that the 'arena style pvp' that was seen at E3 was nothing more than a small area created specifically for event demos (like E3), and that there are currently no plans to implement such a system on the live servers.
Maybe you should spend more time paying attention and less time stroking your ego over every little rumor that would seem to confirm your own bias. But then you'd only have half as many opportunities to throw out blanket insults of fanboyism to everyone who doesn't agree with you while bragging about how you already cancelled your sub. And that just isn't fun is it.2 -

snowmanflvb14_ESO✭✭✭✭Lets see ESO has already offically stated that the so called "arena" demo used at E3 was a small scaled pvp set up used so that people can see pvp and play it in the limited time they are allotted at E3 and is not currently intended or being developed for inclusion in the game. There has been no word on the bard as to it being a skill line or class. However, since they stated that they plan on constantly adding new content to the game seems either way that they are trying to live up to said promise. As to the server stability it is hardly mediocre. In fact it is extremely stable when compared to any other MMO a few months into launch I have played and that goes all the way back to EQ.Magic is impressive but now Minsc leads SWORDS FOR EVERYONE!!0

It is all in good fun, let them duke it out. I had started this topic in hopes of a serious discussion about working on the existing product instead of adding shinys to it but the fan boy types still seem to have a hard on for blind belief over discussion. It's fun

As Kai Schober just stated in the German section of the forum, new classes are not likely. But new world or guild skill lines are allready planned, so this might be a world or guild skill line.

These additions and developments were planned and completed well before release. Craglorn and the next 4 areas for vr11-20 are and were all developed before release. I am not ignorant to how this works.
The product should work before adding crappy accessories, it was no sweat delaying 2 console releases and entire EU supported server release, pausing content while fixing what exists should not be a difficult choice either.
My point still stands.

It released live in the exact state we got the game in Nov 2013. This "recent release, needs X amount of excuses" is so damned tired. As for EQ, I was DAoC, sorry you had not made the better choice. I hear your former choice has a new edition out soon, I am sure they will have learned from 20 years of mistakes made by other producers. Or in prime example here, maybe not.

I agree it only ever gets as far as opinion vs opinion. One faction complains about what ZOS is doing, and Others try to defend, But it's still 100% speculation, and will never reach resolution.
