Summary of the main quest and main zone quests?

I, as many of you love the stories and lore of the Elder Scrolls, including ESO. I was disappointed to find out that ESO did not come with a good in game journal that at least let us keep the list of completed quests, or better yet, give a little summary of the quests we have done so we could review them later and re-live our adventures. GW2 does a nice job with this for the Personal Story at least, and added a "story journal" in for the upcoming chapters of the Living Story, but ESO has way better stories and quests than GW2 and doesn't do anything like this.

I am very slowly moving through the game and find myself forgetting what happened in the zone before and who was who after I get distracted by all the other activities, side quests, and exploring as I move forward.

Does anyone know of a good game guide or wiki site that provides a good recap of the main zone story lines of the game? I think the main quest is pretty straight forward and doesn't need as much recapping.

I do not know of any sote that currently has anything for quests other than location. Don't feel too bad though, the game has reocurring characters who generally have either the more lore-centric stories, or the most entertaining.

Not exactly sure how and what detail you need but here is couple

Anyway as being quite completeonist I like to do all quests and other stuff there is on areas before move on. So I would love to have list of quests in game even only the completed ones so I can then look up from the internet if I have missed something somewhere.

Would be so much better than the achievement view where you might see like 40/41 and need to comb the whole map to find that one quest you missed and even on that list I think it doesn't consider some of the very small ones.

I usually have at least 5 quests over their achievement, so it can't really serve to measure the real ammount of quests for us completionist;)

That said, I fully agree with OP, it kinda surprised me there was no journal, I really wish there was one. I would love one just like in other TES games, listing all my completed quests and some details about them so I could at it and marvel just how heroic I am:) And check on some chars I no longer remember, too, of course.
