2 months later and pre-auth charge has still not been released. Over 20 emails to customer service.

Incident #140611-005671. This has just been a cluster from the get go. Zenimax CS will send me an email saying they've escalated the issue to billing. Which sends me an email saying they've contacted the card issuer and released the funds. Contact the card issuer which says they never contacted them. Someone somewhere in the process is lying about actions taken.

Edited. Forgot to add the 40 minute phone call with customer service also.

    A hold isn't supposed to go on that long, as someone with a lot of experience in banking. Call your bank and ask them what is going on? Speak to their credit/debit card operations --- if the person answering the phone tries to make up a lazy excuse, ask for a manager.
