drogon1✭✭✭✭YesYes, which is one of the reasons I unsub'd. Running the same quests in the same faction is bad enough (since it is the ONLY way to level); but having to run them again at VR levels is inconceivable (though apparently at that level dungeon xp is viable for leveling).0 -
Gedalya✭✭✭✭✭YesI have to say yes however I play them sparingly compared to my main; the reason being for my main alt I'm only VR1 and my progression has been slow and steady since I stared pre-launch.0 -
Windshadow_ESO✭✭✭YesOn the NA server all 8 of mine in their teens are alts...
But frustration with bots has sent me to the PTS which while lonely is bot free and I am enjoying the game again as well as a feeling of doing something interesting and useful by bug hunting and crash reporting.
Once they kill all the bots I will pick one ov my 8 to be a main ....

Woolenthreads✭✭✭✭For those of you who are using your alts as mules because you're storing research items, I'm following the advice someone else gave on another thread. The advice is "Research the item with the Alt, Then when you need to research the trait the alt can make a new item and put it in the bank." Simple and I wish I'd thought of it myself.

. There are only 8 Divines and our maximum list of characters are the same so they are keeping to a theme 
. There are also only 8 traits an item too .

wafcatb14_ESO✭✭✭NoI always have lots of Alts in every MMO since EQ in 1999 . this game tho umm no unlike every other MMO where you actualy have replay value , you can take your new baby alt to 3 or 4 diff zones every 10 lvls to lvl up ,
What do we have here ? you get the same zone and same quest you already went through unless you want to reroll on a diff faction lol wtf came up with this winner .
Just like they were afraid people would skip all their Awesome PVE quest grind to lvl by doing AVA so they nerfed repeatable quest there , and nerfed craglorn exp to try and force people to play the game how they want .
which is doing questing , game that only has 1 way to play and progress and that punishes you for choosing a diff route is just bad game desgin .
so umm no . the only alts i have are hireing alts and extra bank space atleast until my sub runs out . there not much they can do to fix this may as well stick a fork in it .Edited by wafcatb14_ESO on June 11, 2014 10:38PM0 -
