Why is insight usually the lowest value on our profiles? Is it hard to come by?

Insightful without a specific topic, hmm, difficult.

The problem is that different people have different insights into matters, what is blindingly obvious to one person might be quite obscure to me. And vice-versa.

Which probably why they made it such a low points contributor. Rather than have people giving for points value to their friends, it still signifies that we think a person has made a genuinely insightful comment.

None of which particularly helps with the search into insight.

    Bury
    huff
    Dough

    BOOYYYYYYYY.

Also lol ego. Who needs something like that? It's as useless as the subjective concept of 'sanity.'

Thank you. I will no longer stare at my profile stats wondering why I'm less awesome than I am insightful. Until someone finds me insightful again.

While questing make sure to have two bars.

One filled with awesome solo skills which you need to complete your quest in Veteran area.

And a second bar filled with skills that needs leveling, for max benefit 5 skills + ultimate

Before you turn in the quest switch to the second bar to get the quest xp to your skills.

And when the skill is maxed out you replace it with another skill. Wasting no quest xp.

I morphed and maxed out 35 abilities this way.

edit: you could also do this just before you kill world group bosses and complete dolmen and solo instances if you can finish of the last few seconds with the 2nd bar.

90% of the guides and articles out there were written mid beta so you need to keep this in mind when reading them that half the things in them my not apply to the game anymore.

Silver Bolts is your friend, and it's not just for Daedra or undead. Learn it. Know it. Live it.

If you're a vampire, it's okay to reach Stage Four. You don't have to feed every half hour.

Razum-Dar is just Brynjolf with a tail and a different accent, and Shalidor is just Vilkas in a mage's body.

Jorunn the Skald-King (Peter Stormare) has the only real Nordic accent in the game (He's Swedish).

Ok... Don't ever think of investing into alchemy, enchanting and/or provisioning all on the same character. You will always run out of bank and bag space. Always.

This is why I have 6 mules. I mostly store provisioning, but everything else goes elsewhere. Eventually, I'm just going to convert it to stuff I use the most. Everything that is petty and over a stack of 100 I'll give away.

    - Talk to every NPC in game. Some of them will tell you locations to find other areas/delves that hold quests (and mark those locations on your map) in addition to giving you a small amount of exp. You can run across those locations randomly too, so you don't -have- to talk to the NPC to "unlock" it.. it's just kinda nice to know where an area you may not have normally gone is on the map.

    - Forums generally aren't a happy place. This goes for every single game. They are filled with people who specifically want somewhere to complain about the game in some form (personal complaint or bug, either one). There will be a few people who like the game on any forums, they'll usually be called fanboys or white knights, while the ones complaining will be called whiners or trolls.

    - Every game has bugs. All of them. Every MMO has a group of players getting some error the prevents them from logging in. Every MMO has players that are unable to complete at least one quest. Every MMO has balancing issues. In some MMOs you'll get hit by these bugs, in some MMOs you won't... when it happens, it sucks.. and it might make the MMO it happened in the worst MMO ever to you. That's okay, just don't expect everyone to agree with you.

    - Everyone has different tastes, and that's okay. Just because you like MMO A and not MMO B doesn't meant MMO B is the worst ever, and person that likes MMO B is dumb/stupid/an idiot for preferring it. It also doesn't mean MMO B is going to or needs to fail. Just means different people have different preferences. That goes for features within MMOs as well.

If you're stuck trying to figure out what to do on a quest, or want to look up a quest/achievement/piece of gear/trophy/title or whatever,

    esohead.com
(Coming from WoW and having used WoWhead extensively, I was super excited to find that this exists).

Given the relative newness of ESO and the site's general reliance on player input and comments, it's still a bit sparse, but the longer it exists the more useful it will be.

Crates and barrels do not scale Provisioning ingredients to your level in veteran areas.... BUT Produce Baskets DO! So even if you don't cook, grab the produce baskets in Vet because they usually have sellable uncommon ingredients.

I just looked at mine, surprising what people thought was insightful.
Some of it was insightful, I think, but other bits were surprising.
